So I picked this guy up tonight, it has been hanging on to shelves here in a few places.

I get him home and well, he is not as much fun as I wanted him to be, in fact it is making me want to track down those hard to find legends from Universe.

Anyone else pick him up and come off with buyers remorse?

I love the character, and the toy is awesome, but I am not feeling liek I did when I bought my other Animated Voyagers, Grimlock, Lugnut they just seem to be stronger toys.

I think you may be insane.
Animated Shockwave is probably my favourite out of all my TFAnimated figures. I was looking for him for ages and I do not regret buying him at all. My only regret is playing with him TOO much as the spring mechanism in his crane/gun sometimes sticks now from over use :p

    But to each his own

I'm very sad I stripped the screw to my purple one trying to fix it. :(  Now I have a half-Shockwave.

Maybe you overhyped him a bit? High expectations will bring disappointment, and I can say that this toy was certainly overhyped. Yet, it's still a good toy actually.

Actually he's one of my favorite Animated toys, so I don't have any buyers remorse for him.

I love him, I had high hopes for him and found him accidently in the clothing department at Kmart under a stack of shirts. It was a very good day.

I LOVE Animated Shockwave!! He's freaking awesome! I like him enough to have both versions of him. Definitely no buyers remorse for me.

I felt a little letdown (but I don't watch the show). It is a cool idea, but both of mine were kind of a floppy mess, and the design overall just didn't do it for me compared to some of the other Animated figures. Not mad that I bought him, just not nearly as good as the bulk of the rest of the line.

Personally, Ani Shockwave is one of my favorite toys in my collection. I've got both versions of him. My purple one is kind of wobbly and loose, but he's still awesome. ^.^

I thought Shockwave was awesome. I can see where you might like Grimlock better, but Lugnut?

i like him a lot, but i didn't listen to anyone's opinions when i got my first one. grimlock is more disappointing to me because of the gaping hole in his chest, should have left the folding arms out of it and added folding panels instead

I like Shockwave a lot, but he's not my favorite Animated Voyager. The robot to robot conversion is really damn cool, but the vehicle modes definitely feel like an afterthought - especially the crane mode. On the whole, I consider Grimlock and Lugnut to be a bit ahead of him as far as the Voyagers are concerned.

Kinda pissed I didn't get the Purple one, but no, I love him (even though the Purple one was $5 (though not present) and this one was $20)!

Animated Sockwave is my all-timfavorite toy and his cartoon counterpart is my favorite Decepticon from Animated.

I picked up the Target purple one and love it. I was not interested in the green from the show but once I saw the purple that sealed the deal for me. Strange, eh? But overall he is a very strong toy. With 4 different modes to transform into how can you go wrong?
