OK, so I ordered Animated Shockwave from Amazon yesterday, and he's on his logical way. As I'm going to Turkey tomorrow for a week, I will have to wait for him to arrive. Have I made the right decision? Is it a good figure? And, most importantly, how tall is he in relation to the tallest figure I own: 2007 Movie Leader Optimus Prime?
In robot Shockwave mode, he's pretty tall. I think he's just about as tall as 07 Movie Prime. But then again, I haven't fiddled with my 07 Prime in some long time.
His legs can extend quite a bit with some fiddling. I think you made an excellent purchase. He's a lot of fun
Shockwave is awesome, one of the best of the line IMO. And yes, you can get him pretty tall in robot mode. He's got good posability, and he's tons of fun with his 4 modes.
I I always hope I will see him on clearance one day a few Targets still have a couple laying around, but Target and Wal-Mart still are trying to squeeze ever cent out of those guys, just like the Ultra Magnus and Megatron at my Wal-Mart, they have been moved back and forth to clearance, they are still only a couple of bucks lower then they were.
Shockwave is my third favorite Transformer out of the line. Prowl comes first, followed by Leader Megatron.
Shockwave is one of the best bots from the Animated line, good choice. As other have already said, he is pretty tall.
Like everyone has said, Shockwave is a great toy. As for height, the top of Shockwave's head (not including his antenna/horns) comes up to 07 Prime's chest.
*echos everyone else* Also, if you want to display Shockwave in Longarm mode, there's a trick to getting his head into the right position which I can't describe right now.
He's a cool figure, especially if you got the purple version of him (which is what I got; I have yet to pick up his gray variant).
just has a quick measure and 07 leader prime is just shy of 10 inches tall, shockwave isn't quite that tall is he?
I picked Shockwave up just the other day. In my opinion he's fairly generic and boring in his autobot and vehicle modes, but as Shockwave he's quite interesting. He's as tall as animated Starscream.
In his Shockwave robot mode, he's just about 9 inches tall. So he's just an inch shy of 2007 Leader Prime. And yes, the figure kicks much ass.
