It's been awhile since TFA ended and we have all of the seasons except 3 any release date on this one?

I HATE when companies that make the DVD's (OR Hasbro) let them do all of the series then when it comes to the last season they drag their feet......:wtf:

There was a preorder on Amazon at one point. I believe it's since been taken down, and in any event, a date was never posted.

I share your pain though. Season 3 has some of the best moments from the whole series, and I'd love to have it to complete my collection. Perhaps it will be along later this year in time for the holiday season, without a major movie DVD release perhaps it might fall into that space?

The last reported news on this was that Paramount, who published seasons one and two, let their license expire before they could release season three. I remember one of our board members contacted Paramount customer service confirming this.

Paramount let their license expire? Bummer... was hoping for Animated Season 3 to come out on DVD sometime soon. :(

Could be issues due to the Cartoon Network connection, but maybe Shout! Factory can pick up the license. That could work out pretty well, especially given the extras on the animated dvds that came out were... underwhelming.

Yeah, I hope Shout picks that up, because Season 3 really needs to be released. It's just too good to not get a release.

Shout would be a good distributor for Season 3. Heck, maybe they could release a complete Animated series box set loaded with lots of extras.

I'd love it if Shout! released the series on DVD. Maybe they'd even get the widescreen cuts.

We could always download the episodes off of YouTube and put them on our iPods. That's what I did. All of seasons two and three on 8 Gig.

But it does suck that all this mumbo jumbo is happening. Hasbro is pimping out its millionth repaint of Bumblebee right now - and they'll simply forget.

Well, I'm sure many would still like clear, proper releases of the show to keep as part of their collection.

PLEASE GIVE US THE DVD....:( :(

Yes. I own very few TV series, and a few from pirate sources, but Animated is one of those who I want to legitimately own for quality and support of the line.
