Big Hank! That's just super! Looks like he jumped out from the animated series. Really really creative Big Hank. Wouldnt have thought about Lugnut being used for Scorponok in a million years! Are u selling it?

Thanks for the love everyone!  I had a great time doing 'ol Scorps here. I felt the concept was a success, but I could have done some things different. I am taking steps now to improve upon the design features.:thumbs2:

I would also like to specifically extend a BIG THANKS to Plowking, Redline, Nemesis Predaking, Autobotx23, and Superquad7 for the support and the push to make this a perfect TF trip-changer! :D They were there from the early WIPs, and I appreciate the guidance!:rock

Nah, he's not that bright. It's a combination of the flash and my woefully inadequate photog skills! I used this as my reference pics:
    Scorponok (1987) - Decepticon Headmaster Commander - www.tfu.info

In person the colors are pretty dead on, albeit the green has a tad too much yellow tone to be an exact match, but just a tad. Very passable in person. The purple is Kandy Violet, but the "candy" gives it the overly bright effect with the flash. All in all, the paint is acceptable, tone wise. Next time I won't be a slacker and I'll mix the colors correctly instead of buying "off the shelf"!:D

Man, I don't feel like I did your artwork any justice! You made a masterpiece Animated Scorponok head  , but aside from a complete scratch sculpt, this was a good alternative! It does work pretty well IMHO!:thumbs2:

I agree, I may make one that is an add-on you can put over his head once it pops out! I have a G.I. Joe Sigma Six Strike Duke helmet that may be a good candidate!:thumbs2:

LOL! I would love to make you guys one, just drop a PM if you want a Scorponok for your Animated collection. This one I would not feel good about selling, I fabricated a lot of joint work with styrene, but it's a bit fragile for constant fiddling. I know, I can't put the guy down and I see potential for breakage, especially where the beast legs attach. I bought brass stock so I can retool future Scorpys with brass joints that will hold up for a lifetime of play! I also have a lot of rub issues at the points of modification, so I would want to address them on future Scorpys as well! I would be happy to make as many as anyone would want so just drop a line!

Thanks again everybody! Keep on bashin'!!---BH

Too friggin' sweet! I swear, sometimes you guys just blow me away with the simple fact that you do a mod that I never would have thought of, then pull it off so well that It just looks so obvious... Fantastic job!

Totally kick ass! I loved this mold as is, but this is just over the top. Its amazing what a lil work will do to these animated molds and make them truly outstanding, and this work really signifies that. Also your color and part choices are spot on and your enginering is top notch, great job!
