maybe im just not trasforming them right, but im having a hard time getting these guys to stand, they keep falling over backwards unless I lean them really far forward, Prowl especially. From pictures I've seen, I thought he was really ridged, but im having a hell of a time with him.

Ratchet has those black peices on the back of his feet, but they don't really seem to do anything, all three that I mentioned in the title, I had to balance just to get them to stay.

    any help?

    Bulkhead? he stands pretty well.

Prowl has those light legs, and no stands on his feet. It helps to bend his legs a little, and just find his center of gravity.

Same for me. And even then Prowl is easy once you figure out exactly how to curve the legs so they line up, but he still has narcoleptic moments when I stand him straight.

For Prowl, make sure his shins have a nice, natural, sweeping curve to them. His natural stance thusly has his legs swept back slightly, counterbalancing his backpack. He has no problems standing. In dynamic poses, he has no issues at all.

Prowl needs heels. I thought that as soon as I tried to stand him for the first time.
And I know what you mean about Ratchet as mine has kinda loose feet and he either wants to tip forwards or his backpack makes him too back-heavy for the bits that stick out the back of his foot housing (the rear lights). I unscrewed his feet and placed a small piece of tape on the inside heel of each foot block so they'd fit more snugly. Once reassembled you can't see the tape, and that extra layer makes his feet a bit tighter. :)
As for Bulkhead, he is a bit back-heavy, but I just balance him out by having his arms pointing forwards.
I do think the wacky proportions some of the TF:Animated characters doesn't help them balance as well as they could do.

One thing that helped my Ratchet stand was to tighten the screws in the ankle, and then flip the black heel piece out to the same place as the foot.

He's still a little wobbly, but he stands a lot easier.

I make my Ratchet stand by giving him slightly "samurai anime" knees. You know, where they kind of bend the wrong way, just slightly, like 10 degrees or so.

She suffers from not having much foot articualtion and such a small footprint. Once again it's all about balance - once you've got her weight in the right place you can get some decent poses out of her. That little hinge on her shins helps with that a bit too as it can make her footprint bigger and you can cheat things.
I can place mine in a general standing pose just fine.

Are you sure you pulled his feet down all the way? A lot of people don't transform his feet properly, causing him to have some balance issues.
