    Tweak-ed Bulk-head
Basically I just removed the sawblade from the right hand, and added a few paint details to the leader mold, to make Bulky a slight bit more awesome than he already is.

Also, a little experimenting to see, since some folks dislike the leader mold for all it's non-show-accurate extra weaponry, how easy it is to remove, and what it looks like when done. (If you got a screwdriver, it's a pretty simple job)

Just add 2 white stars and it's pretty much like the show save for the head cover

THANK YOU for posting that weaponless mod! From what people were saying I was under the impression that taking those missle armaments off was going to require cutting or something more invasive than a screwdriver. My desire for this toy just went way up. Now I just need to find one, and some big white star stickers to cover the holes. :)

Looks good. Mine stays in bot mode as I'm not a fan of this jet mode. In jet mode it doesn't fit with the other Starscreams I have. I mean what's with the reversed wings?

Some real-world jets have forward-facing wings and the designers probably just thought it would look cool on Starscream.

I think his forward-facing wings are meant to look more futuristic... reminds me of the G2 Cyberjets a little. I'm tempted to undertake a massive mod to change the wing sweep but its daunting for a hack like me. :)

there have been a few prototype jets made with forward swept wings, mostly for testing new technology, most notable would be the X-29 and the modified F-16...and both of them flew quite well...

back on topic though, these mods all look great but something just holds me back from modding my figs, especially where cutting is involved...maybe one day

Well I will be modding Blitzwing today. I have figured out a pretty nifty way to give hime forward facing cannons in bot mode. I am installing a small peg that will be glued to each cannon in the trapazoidal hold and will seat in the screw holes on the inside of each shoulder pad. Facing forward they will look pretty dang good. No I just need to find a couple blue "ice missiles" for Klink face and I will be all done. Picture coming soon

One of the things I did to my Lockdown was mod the shoulder pads. I didn't like how they were angled and wanted them to stick out more like in the cartoon. I think it looks a lot better this way.

Yep, did that the first night I got him :thumb
Makes the figure SO much better IMO, I think it would be really nice to see reprolables do a set for leader Bulkie with white stars to go on him.

Thanks. I didn't mod any of my Transformers until Animated but after doing Bumblebee I decided to do Lockdown, Megatron, Prowl, and Grimlock. After I did the hands on Lockdown the shoulder pads, which really bugged me too from the first time I transformed it, had to be fixed. I looked at it closely before I started so I could make sure it was possible without messing it up. The results are very pleasing to me.

Edit: I plan to do the same thing to Blazing Lockdown and Stealth Lockdown.

A comment to all the Blitzwing owners - take a sharpie to his face.

Adding black to the monocle, eyes and chinstraps does a world of difference.

    Okay here we go.
    Supplies:
    Xacto knife
    Stikfas action figure
    Micro screwdriver
    matte clear coat paint

I don't think it has to be a Stikfas action figure but that is what I used. I found a set of square pegs and sheared them off with the xacto knife. The stikfas peg was just about perfect. I then removed the screw from the bottom of each barrel and separated the halves a little bit. The pegs fit into the trapezoidal slot very tightly so I squeezed the halves together as I screwed them back together. The pegs fit just a hair loose when first placed but a couple coats of the matte clear Krylon with a brush took care of that. The guns restrict the shoulder movement a bit but it is a very non obtrusive mod.

    Starscream

Does anyone have any advice on how to keep Starscream's feet and hands from falling off? My Starscream's right foot and right "fingers" (for lack of a better term) refuse to stay in place
