I like it. My only complaint is that the face looks a bit busy for the TFA aesthetic, but that's how it was on the toy proto. Good job.
Very nice! Just out of curiousity, what's your art process? Do you draw the lines, use a tablet? ect...
This looks almost official! Great job! The face grill makes him look a bit like Hannibal Lecter, which is fitting since I imagine Megatron to go a little loopy after his capture.
God Damnit......................This really makes me miss animated, and this bad ass design! Would have made the best figure ever!
I draw in pencils, messy but I try to keep it as neat as possible. I scan at 300 dpi import to Photoshop. I do use a tablet, I go around a size 5 brush and go over each individual line. To do colours I select, expand the selection and fill. To do shades I use lasso and pen tool to make different selections and fill in with the lowered opacity of Black and White. Updated with the much requested Galvatron colour scheme =)
That's freaking awesome, darksage! Despite what Derrick J. Wyatt says, that could pass off as a great Galvatron figure.
This can also pass as the Fallen i mean look at the face. and the alt modes The 'Fallen turned into a jet in the movie and a Tank in the G1 Dreamwave comic.
I hereby join the massive throng of folks who say "I want this figure, please push TF Prime backa year so we can get more TF Animated, yadda yadda yadda...." remember folks TF Zone supported a toyline with only a Manga and a single episode of cartoon, perhaps the comics and DVD sales will be enough to keep interest in TFA figs, at least until we get the last trickle out of characters. (Wingblade Prime, Blackout, Thundercracker, Ramjet, Slipstream, Scrapper, Mixmaster, Dirtboss, Strika, Spittor (especially Spittor dammits!), Red Alert, Hot Shot, Brawn, Omega Supreme, Yoketron, and Sari (yes I want a teen Sari figure, they made one for Kicker in Energon dammits!)
