Explain how Movie ratchet is a wimp. Hes. Pwned Brawl. Been in a shootout with starscream and megatron, plus with 13 decepticons with only 2 other robots and a bunch of puny humans, Also when fighting starscream he was shot in the ass by a high power Gatling gun and shot in the chest with a missile launch and still was able to shoot back. Plus you gotta think about size. Ratchet is an H2 hummer. And hes about 20 feet tall. While lockdown >P is I guess some sort of hot rod car from the 70s. which would be about 14 feet tall. I'm thinking ratchet being a freaking kick ass medic would be able to blow off a lot of things lock down can give. Also Ratchet from Animated will rely on tools like a beam of energy to lift crap to fight with, while movie ratchet uses melee weapons and two machine guns which in my book is alot harder then pointing your wrist.

 

Not really. He actually fought and did a lot of kickass stuff in the first movie's final battle. (the part where he cut Brawl's arm off was the best)

Lockdown beats all.

 

I'd have to see ROTF Ratchet actually do something before I said anything either way.

 

It's not what you got, it's what you can do with it. Lockdown has all these upgrades but may not know how to use all of them the best they can. Ratchet's weapons are a part of his own body. Ratchet has a chainsaw/buzzsaw, a rifle, and god knows how many medical tools at his disposal he can use at will. Lockdown's weapons are all add ons, all of them aren't on him at all times. Ratchet's are. He can even turn his leg into a gun. What does Lockdown's leg do? Nothing.

Plus due to his knowledge of Transformer anatomy and body structure, Ratchet knows exactly where to hit at the right time to get the most damage. He sawed off Brawl's arm. He must've known a weak point to cut.

 

Maybe I'm making this up, but wasn't there something that stated that movie Ratchet was one of the only Autobots next to Prime who could fight one on one with movie Megatron and at least put up a good fight? I don't know if that counts as being canon or not, but if that's true then I would give the edge to Ratchet.

If you don't want to count that, it becomes trickier. Going by the movies alone, we don't know much about Ratchet.

I would go with lockdown but he will have the fight of his life, for a medic rachet is dangerous =P

 

Lockdown is definitely armed to the teeth, making it an easy win, but I find that ROTF Ratchet is more badass than Animated Ratchet, in that he actually uses guns and has a buzzsaw in his arm, so he'll defininitely put up quite a fight...but when it comes right down to it, Lockdown wins.

 

C'MON MEN AND WOMEN.......THIS IS A SICK BATTLE.........PUT YOUR INPUT! 

 

There are so many things to consider. Hmmmmmmm???????
