Does anyone else have trouble spinning the copter blades on their Animated Leader Megatron?

I got one yesterday and the figure rocks but when I go to spin the blades they don’t move very smooth and make a lot of plastic on plastic gears clicking noises.

Did I miss a step in the Transformation? Or is this just the way the figure works?

Mine does the exact same thing. I think it's just the way it is. Kinda like how sometimes automorph features slip a bit. Though Megatrons blades seem to slip more often than they catch.

I think the gear noise is normal, though the blades on mine spin okay. Not super smooth, but they don't jam.

The first time they're stiff, so you have to spin both at the same time out of the box, but after that breif 'loosening up' it's whirly-ROFLCopter-fun time!

Allrighty so I have to play with it to make it spin right, ok. I'll give that a try when I get home.

    Thanks for the help.

Got him today, his blades turn when rotated, but don't freely spin, i.e. turning one manually turns the other via the gears.

Add in his copter effects, and I've been 8 years old again for the past couple of hours!

I've got another question. I haven't opened mine yet, looking in the box, he is holding one set of blades (sword) but I can't find his other set of copter blades on him.

Are they in the bottom of the box with the directions? Just want to make sure mien isn't missing anything because I don't know when I'll open him.

    Thanks!
