    Lame. And direct to DVD.
We've already had the best we'll ever get as far as JLA animation goes. Why cancel one of the most kickass shows on tv, just to turn around and make a two hour animated movie.
And Identity Crisis is too niched, with too many characters and too much backstory for the mainstream.

I wonder if they mean the adaptation of DC The New Frontier supposedly in the works with Berkowitz writing and Timm attached as exec producer...

Actually, I asked Bruce Timm about "The New Frontier" at Comic Con. I'm not sure if he was kidding or not, but he said it was a rumor that got out of control.

He said he was thinking about making a cartoon for the cooking channel called "The New Fondue." One internet rumor led to another, and eventually people began whispering about a "The New Frontier" cartoon.

I'm not making this up. Timm might've been lying, but that's what he said.

Hmm, how odd. I wouldn't put it past Timm, or hell any comic or tv creator to dismiss something not yet officially announced. The line was removed from the World's Finest interview with Berkowitz though. So I dunno. Maybe it wasn't even confirmed yet, and Berkowitz said something he shouldn't had at the time.

Me too though the writer of The Crapman doing Doomsday has me a little worried, but with Timm watching over his shoulder it has to be good.

Huh. So there IS going to be "The New Frontier."

Timm lied to me about "The New Fondue."

Really looking forward to this. Also hope this becomes a continuing series as there are a lot of comic stories that many would love to see turned into a movie of some type, The Dark Knight Returns comes to mind.

Another interesting thought would be a movie of "Crisis on Infinitie Earth's" granted that would probably be too much work just to keep characters straight alone but you know people are going to ask for it.

Other stories that would be good are: The Long Halloween, JSA: Black Reign, and Trinity.

I'm in for a Trinity movie. great story. Superman, Batman, and Wonderwoman against a villain from each of their pasts. Perfect. Could be told without a lick of continuity too.

I'd be in for a movie made out of "Birthright" too. Superman's origin has been done to death, but I think this is one of the best versions of it.

Do DKR with that hyper-stylized art they used on that Batman animated show years back.
