The only lesson this will teach them is likely going to be "Transformers toys aren't selling in the UK, so why bother? Hey, extra production run for Action Man!"

Considering the absurd amount of Bulkheads warming the shelves here in Brazil, I believe the same thing will happen here.

Seriously. Im just going to beat a dead horse and say what I always say.
    FIX YOUR PRICES.

Everywhere except the US is getting screwed by Hasbro when it comes to pricing, and then wonder why sales arent as good?

Bulkhead is clogging the shelves here as well, but the other voyagers sell out so fast, I have hardly ever seen a Starscream. And the Deluxes get sold out pretty fast too.

Will this have any effect on the rest of the world? If all of these toys are just sitting in the UK what will Hasbro do? Bring those unsold toys back to the States here and try to salvage a profit and possibly bog down our already not moving so fast shelves?

I know that may be a bit a drastic as I made it sound but it seems like the toys themselves aren't really moving around my area and I travel quite a bit at least 4-8 different cities I frequent quite often.

If Animated is doing poorly in the States as well its only because you can't hardly find anything beyond Ratchets and BlackArachnias all over the shelves. Can't find a Magnus to save my life!

Oh, but did find Classics Ironhide this afternoon at a local Wal-Mart. Hooray for me!!! heh heh heh

i havent had faith in hasbro uk since it became apparent that they preferred to push Action Man more than transformers

Dude, Britain is a much smaller country. Putting TFA on a channel most people barely know exists guarantees a microscopic audience.

think about it though, if a transformers cartoon...any cartoon for that matter...is only being picked up by a network that is barely known, is this news really a surprize?

This. Bear in mind that UK TV works a LOT differently to how US TV works. We have 5 main channels. FIVE. If you want anything above BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 or Channel 5 you need to pay for extra equipment, subscription costs etc. I assume you have something similar across in the states, but I also figure you have a hell of a lot more "basic" channels. The only real way over here to guarantee cartoon viewership is either:

    a) Put it on one of the above terrestrial channels
    b) Put it on one of the "main" satellite / cable channels - ie, Cartoon Network, Sky One, maybe the main Nickelodeon channel.

Anything else and you might as well be screening it at midnight.

We haven´t even received them yet. There have been reports of TFA Ultra Magnus and the Battle BEgins two pack here.

Hopefully this won´t affect us here. Sucks to be a british fan:(

Kids' TV is in a complete hole in the UK right now, anyway. Oh, for the days.

But there's the UK animated comic coming up this month. Let's see if that factors in in any way.
