Peaugh, Pascal (of Cybertron.ca), and all other early buyers, it's your cue to buy!

(Apologies to the other members of the early purchase club for forgetting your names)

Okay, I like Grimlock A LOT, but there's no way I would pay $200 for him when the regular toy will be available later this year for only $20.

Yeah, I admit I've bought some early Animated stuff at an arguably inflated price, but I draw the line at triple-digits.

    There's a few new pics.

And wait for Peaugh's gallery pics - he'll probably give us a good look at Grimlock.

Actually that one was supposed to be mine. I bought one from that seller early last week, and after I paid, he said the vendor only had one left and it looked like this:

Clearly I didn't want that, so I got a refund. Then he emails me saying he's gotten another one and sent me a pic:

Look at that. Same scratches on the chest and everything. But paypal's got a hold on the refund until Monday, which I explained to the seller, and he said he can't wait that long, so he jacked up the price and put it on ebay. Which, you know, probably wouldn't get sold or paid for until Monday (or close to it) anyway, so whatever. Saves me some money.

Eh, it's honestly for the best. I saved some money, I know I'll be able to snag one much cheaper at some point, and honestly, this whole "early animated figures" stuff has dropped me in the middle of so much crazy melodrama that it's kind of nice to break the "gotta have it now" cycle anyway.

Uh... that's detailing Peaugh, not scratches. Anyway, why is the seller in such a hurry that he can't wait for payment until Monday? Does he intend to leave town or something? :scalper

No idea. And I know that's detailing, but if you look on the right side of his chest (left side of the picture) you can see two small scratches in the clear plastic, that are exactly the same in the auction and the pic above.

    Hmm, those pictures are interesting...

It looks like he does have some outward shoulder movement; especially noticable in that last picture. A joint system doesnt look to be on the arm thoug, so I guess there is something on the body side that give a bit of movement.

I'm really liking him apart from concerns about his lack of significant shoulder movement (and lack of bicep swivel), so if anyone here gets him (I may be refering to the post above :) ), I'd love a shot of how the arm joins the body, and how the joint works!

Wow,if he expects to people to pay that much he could at least bother to make his auction better to look at. :rolleyes2
