Hello! I like fembots. I set about to collect them all! Except I didn't want more than one version of any given character. Or any given mold. Or any expensive rarities. Or a million little motorcycles.

So I figured I customize some to fill in the gaps created by my own arbitrary rules and general cheapness.

So this is my first ever custom TF; Flamewar.

She's a repaint from TFA Oil Slick with a TFA Arcee head. Oil Slick's bongos barely work as weapons for him, so I made Flamewar a bow from LEGO and crazy straws. It splits in two and can store on her legs or form extra pipes in bike mode.

And here's Ms. War with her fellow Decepti-Queens, Ms. Blast, Ms. Arachnia and Ms. Pose.

Here's a bunch more pics. Hope you like her!

She has the fingernails of a Sweep. The Ram's head seems a bit odd for a female bike, but even so I think this is really nice.

I think she would look better without the goat head, in my opinion. But she still look awesome.

SQ: Right, I forgot two of those girls used to be yours! Ha!

Glad you all like the figure, tho' the consensus seems to be I should have swapped out the goat head. I did play with the idea, but I couldn't think of anything that was girlier that would still be appropriately hardass for Flamewar.

    Any suggestions? ;)

She doesn't need anything girlier - she's clearly a mean b*tch, so she can have a scary goat head lol

The bow is a great addition too, BTW :D

Rumble: To you? You could probably make a better one in half the time! ;)

Unicorn head? I dunno. Maybe we should just pretend she killed TFA Ramulus and stuck his head on her shoulder. ;)  I guess simply removing the horns might work, but I'm reluctant to try it.

Oh, and before I forget again, cheers to Pun-3X for the Arcee head!

griff: Here's a pic showing the neck more clearly (along with all the flaws in the paint. Horray!)

Oil Slick has a tube between his shoulders, through the black piece that holds his head. Through this tube runs the hardest-to-remove pin in all of Transformer-dom! (Seriously, it's a pain. You have to push the burr end out all the way through the tube the width of his torso.) I cut a chunk off each end of the tube, and cut his original black neck piece apart until all that was left was the grille-piece that shows at the front of his motorcycle mode (it is now silver.) I cut some new pieces from styrene and drilled a hole to allow them to mount on the Pin From Heck. I then cut Arcee's neck piece down a bit, drilled a hole through it and the styrene pieces, and made a new joint using a trimmed-down nail. So no her neck compresses like animated Swoop's, before the whole operation swivels back into the cavity, leaving the grille piece in its original position. When in robot mode, the grille piece sits behind the neck. I'll show you next time you're in Raleigh ;)

It would've probably been easier to just glue the old head where OS's was, but then Arcee's would've never fit in the torso unless she had no neck at all. I also found removing all that bulk from the neck area was essential to maximize the girliness!

That's a very inspired and well executed custom TF. I love the paint scheme and the mold choice is perfect! The fact that her weapon can store in alt-mode is great too. Me want!!!

I like it. She's a great interpretation of the character and she comes across and being distinct from Oil Slick.

I love the shot of her with the other Fembots, the walk pose you have her in really brings out the feminine side of her. She's got a lot of character in her design which to me was a key feature of the Animated toys. Seeing your custom with the same level of character is proof you've captured some of the spirit of Animated in this custom :)
