Yup, I know, we havent seen the toys yet, so the TF Prime Toys and Animated toys could be drastically different and wholly incompatible from an visual standpoint.

However, I was messing with Rodimus Minor today, and it occured to me that his style isn't drastically different to what we've seen in TF: Prime - sleek design, simple silver face etc.

I'm hoping that he'll display well with the TF Prime figures, and I'm just wondering what other Animated figures could be potentially 'Prime Compatible'?

Have we gotten confirmation on a TF:p  toyline? I know it seems likely, but with TF3 next year, we could be waiting until 2012 to see true toys based on the Prime design.

And I really don't see any TFA toys that fit with Prime.

Yeah there will be toys, but his point was WHEN. Depending on the TF3 toyline we could we waiting awhile. Personally I don't see Animated fitting into this line. Figures would stick out like a sore thumb in my opinion.

I'm sorry, my opinion is: none.

Unless you'd paint and do some minor mods, I don't think any of them fit it. Starscream I guess is getting the closest, but there are still alot of differences between the styles..

I think if any of them might fit, it would be Swoop and Blurr.

I'd expect the movie line of toys to be repainted and sold as Prime toys. So how does Rodimus look next to movie Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Not great in my mind.

Pretty sure we were told October 2011.

Anyways, for the topic at hand, I gotta say none tbqh. While Prime does draw some inspiration from Animated's designs, it is still heavily movie and WFC based in its aesthetics too.

Megatron is the only one that fits throughout it. And now
Animated Megs fits into the Ongoing series, along with Prime...

In my opinion, the only Animated figs that fit are the "Bayminated" customs. :D
