Hey all. I just saw this while over at Seibertron and figured I would post it over here as I didn't see it posted here as of yet. Here is the link to the auction- http://cgi.ebay.ca/Transformers-200...ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

and my thoughts on it (copied from my post at seibertron)-
Cool. Personally, I can't wait for this line to come out. I plan to be a completionisth with it (well, at least try to be, lol). Here's hoping for an in-package Voyager to appear on Ebay, so we can get a feel for what theire packaging will look like. I'm going to email the bidder and see if they could put up some more/better pictures of him (specifically the front and sides).

Edit: Just got to looking at the picture better. and noticed that it says "Flip out Stingers" in regards to his hand weapons. Maybe one of the reasons given in the show for his name?

Anyone got a higher-res version or a transcript? I don't seem to be able to read most of the text in that image.

Not that I've seen yet. I might ask the seller if they can put it in the auction for us, though I'll wait and see if they reply to my first question for more/better pictures of him.

    For Galactic Powers & Abilities:
    Rocket-enhanced jumps
    Energy stingers fire electrical pulses
    Totally fearless

That's the only useful thing I can make out from the package

Hopefully we get proper tech specs inside the box, though.

Tech specs are a Transformers tradition - they'd better not be abandoning that after over 20 years.

I think it was Armada or Energon that did away with them in the first place - was it Energon that had them posted exclusively on the Hasbro website rather than packages? One of those two at any rate.
It also appears there is a bio right above the abilities callout - I don't think that's the story blurb, since it mentions Autobot Ratchet.

Looks great, especially the bee stingers - I like that idea.

I do wish they would make a collector friendly packaging so that I can take the toy out of the packaging without ripping half of it to pieces with the sellotape :(

Can't wait to grab some of these figures.

I don't know about these toys for myself. They look really cool for the kids though.

A thought that I had was that retailers are seeing how powerful the movie line is, and want it to continue.

And generally what the retailer wants, Hasbro tries to give.

Hooray for Bumblebee! Their "Galactic Powers" are really nothing more than special abilities like in G1.

Why Hasbro gotta hurt us?:cry  Plus, with Animated moved back, Classics 2 is pushed back farther.:cry

That boxart rocks! "Say hello to my little friend!" Bzzz-KABOOM!:lol

Yeah, a 6 + month wait from the point of 'ready to go' must have some reasonable explanation.

it's not my place to argue with a veteran. But I'll inform you that while armada and cybertron had tech specs on the boxes hasbro included the energon tech specs on the collectible cards with each toys instructions.

Though I think think the weirdest stuff was in beast machines when they gave figures decimal scores for the tech spec. (stength 8.6)

bumblebees drills combine into a pointy matrix from my objective point of view, It is either g1 fanfare or just really silly looking.

    The packaging looks really nice!

I'm not much for predicting many future events, but I think this line is going to go over REALLY well with the smaller kids (not to say it won't with many of the adults, but the smaller kids are the definitely the target audience here).
