Sure they would. I probably would pass it over in favor of the leader class version coming. Also I would get Starscream way before Bulkhead.

I would. I can't wait for the Animated toys, but 4 months in advance or not, Bulkhead doesn't interest me in the least. Now if it were Prowl or Lockdown...

Both are EXCELLENT firgures. And Lockdown is the tallest at the head (by about 1/4") in robot mode out of all seven wave one figs. (Starscream's wingtips are slightly higher overall)

Hasbro slipped a couple of these into random cases of movie figures on purpose. That way hopefully one nerd would find one and they could get all the collectors back in the store hunting. If you're there maybe you'll buy a TFTM repaint or some 25th Joes. It's a C, O, N, spiracy...my brother.

I think it's real. K-mart people are stupid. They just send out whatever and mislabel things.

Very interesting. I'm not interested in this toy, but I would have bought it had I seen it at retail already. I remain skeptical, but hopeful.

I am not entrusted in these Animated toys but it is very nice to see K-Marts back at the scene. I used to drool while staring at the G1s in my local K-Mart. (Pico Rivera store, now demolished) If this is true, maybe K-Marts will stock the Universe line early.

K-Mart is notorious for doing things like this. I found movie toys a month early fully stocked on shelves, but they wouldn't sell them... This is probably legit.

Well, it's certainly not an impossible occurrence. I just wouldn't go around -expecting- to find Animated this early. ;)

The two Kmarts here have had jack and squat since way long before Thanksgiving.

    Ebay:
there are several in Sacramento and the Fresno area, but they did close 90% of the stores.

As for if this is legit, my wife used to be the store manager of a KB Toys, and they would sometimes get toys that were not to be released yet, or in some cases they would accidentally get a box of toys that would contain another store's exclusive figure.

That being said, I see no reason for this to be a scam, considering if the toy were an auction for a prototype or promo toy, he'd be able to ask far more $ for it, due to the 1-of-a-kind nature. He's selling this mass-release toy at a very respectable price considering eBay & Paypal will take out a few dollars of the final price, and gas prices in California range from $3.09 to $3.59.
