if animated blurr had been a universe toy i wouldnt have thought him especially unusually styled for a universe toy, his G1 toy was rather odd to begin with. Anybody out there feel blurr would fit alongside their real classics toys??

    Um... not really.

He just looks too... well... "animated" to be in UniClassics.

Agreed. Too lanky and he's got all the "curves" of Animated.

What Uni toys are you comparing him to to think he'd fit in?

What are you talking about? he's 100% spot-on TFA and 0% Universe.

While the lankiness DOES fit the character, I imagine there's more about the toy that just wouldn't quite fit. The colors are done differently and the headsculpts are very different. Even if you were to take the head from Cybertron Blurr, I think the coloring would still be off, as well as the lack of molded detail.

Is a good idea, but the execution just wouldn't work, I don't think.

There isn't a single flat surface on him. He can't be a Universe figure.

I'm trying to understand the rather astounding amount of people that claim that they want to have animated figures alongside classics/universe. I just don't see it.

i get where ya coming from microclone. if one were to work, i think it would be him...but i also see where everyone says no. over all though, i agree with mordecai6. i just do not understand how people want to fill in the gaps with animated.

Nah, I don't see it. Cybertron Blurr is closer but even that would be a stretch.

I guess some people just see things differently. IMO none of the Animated figures look like they fit in nicely with Classics, not even the Dinobots. The obvious differences are too striking.

My classics Grimlock likes that Snarl is his size and UM is actually great alongside the classics Autobots. I also think Blitzwing looks rather nice with the other two triple-changing decepticons.

I dunno, I can't think of any Animated figs that would work as Classics, at least not without some serious modification. Even Magnus doesn't look right, mostly due to his curved forearms and stylised face. If those could be fixed (and I'm sure they could), then I'd agree, but not straight out of the box.

I could never throw a show character on the wrong shelf. Cybertron Blur is more then enough for me since I have no great love for the g1 version

Well I tried that experiment. Thought I just grab me an Animated Blurr and plug him in with my Classic/Universe collection. And after the dust cleared I realized he just didn't have a true C/U vibe so I gave him to my son because he collects Animated and had been drooling over Blurr since he saw me with him.

The animated designs don't really fit in with Classics/Universe2.0. The designs are very unique to that line.

Cybertron Blurr is the closest we have to a Classics Blurr.
