The forearms were supposed to form the top/center bit of the jet which would have cut down on the under jet bulk - I guess the head gimmick stopped that from working. It would be nice to see it properly transformed though. Damn - talk about a power buyer! Congrats, I look forwards to the review.
I never liked the tank mode and hoped that the jet mode would bail it out but that's even worse. I may get him just for the bot mode.

First easy pass for me from the animated toy line. Unless that junk underneath the jet mode can be hidden elsewhere, I can't see me buying this one
okay not a fan of the jet mode but love the bot mode which is fine for me because i display mine in robot mode anyway!
Jet mode is disappointing. I'm betting the tank mode is going to be fairly lame too. I'm wondering if this had been a better figure if it had been a voyager? Seeing this picture, it a no for me now.
The mold for the robot mode looks great...but those colors just plain suck...dunno if it's just me or not but shouldn't he be more of a tan instead of white....? Not going to comment on the jet mode since it's probably transformed wrong... None the less he's a must buy...
I like it alot. Youv got to think though this is good, Its very acutate and its a triple changer so they had to do some sacrificing, two make doth modes look good. Then again most ebayers that get these cant tranform them worth crap so it might be better.Thean again I am not obsessed with kibble so I like it looks close to the show with the tracks underneath. Cant wait for your review Sean!
Yuk, this is horrible, defenatly the worst in the line. Robot mode is good but the jet is horrid, hope the tank is better. I hope the guy did not transform him right as he is not shown in tank mode so the guy has next to nothing on transformer info but still its bad. Classics astrotrain ah even the original triple changers looked way better. Will admit he looks like he has more articulation than the G1 triple changers but he looks alot worse, im very disapointed yuk yuk yuk.
I can't stand this guy in the show, and his toy does nothing for me either. This is the first animated toy I can definatly say I am going to pass on.
Okay, wow, that is certainly, um... yuck. Jet mode is just a total mess. The bot mode looks nice, though, and clearly the tank will turn out better than the plane. But still, that is a pretty terrible jet mode.
Nice, can't wait for this figure to come out! I just hope that the figure is mistransformed, I'm not a big fan of the tread kibble. I can't wait for Sean Long to review it, then we'll be able to see if Blitzwing is Voyager or Deluxe by size comparison.
i suspect the tank willl be less compromised than the jet, eitherway this looks like a lot of fun, its like some crazy steam punk vehicle but without steam! colours a bit off but overall thats one unique TF. if thats a delux thats very impressive, theres a lot going on for $10.
