hi all.this guy was done a few months ago .this is my take on a custom animated blaster from ani soundwave.the head is from robot heroes blaster and only required a cut and drill to add on.soundwave was dissassembled and all painted parts were put into a quart can of 90%isopropyl for 1 day to remove all the factory paint.he's sprayed with dupont silver then hit with semigloss clear.all of the red and yellow colors are automotive vinyl.his chest screen is vinyl too.he's been done for a few months now and i still havent come up with a grapic/stripes scheme for his vehicle mode:banghead:

That looks real nice. I think this mold looks better as Blaster than Soundwave. Nice job!

I really like this! Honestly, I think the vehicle mode looks great without any additional details, but maybe an A-Team styled stripe down the side would fit the mold! Again, great work! :thumb

Looks pretty cool....for some reason, it looks like the head may be a tad on the small side....and that does not take away from the fact that its a cool looking custom :)

    I like it :thumb

all in all,he's really easy to dissassemble, just make sure you remember which way his "kneecaps" faced before you take him apart.the only part that i found a real "p.i.t.a." to dissassemble was his chest/screen thing.the joint behind it really didnt like me.does anyone else find the joint that holds on the chest piece too tight sometimes??

Only flaw is the head size, but short of sculpting your own I can't think of a better choice then that one. Paint is nice and smooth, alt mode looks slightly bland though. A stripe or something would be cool.

That looks really sweet! Nice call on the vinyl, I just might have to give that a try. As for the Robot Heros head, I think that the fact that it goes so well off sets its size. Really glad you posted this.

Putting the Robot Heroes head on was a very nice touch, and makes the transform real easy I'm sure. Great job with this one. I actually like the flat silver, but if you're thinking of a detail, maybe an angled beam in a triangle starting from the yellow and red at the underside of the alt mode going up and back might make it look more in tune to the silver, and it would stand out less.

Any plans on a redo of Laserbeak into Blockrock?

It doesn't look that much like Blaster but I have to say it doesn't look really good and I like his head mold. All the detail looks great and the added paint apps are awesome great job!

    I agree. Looks great!

And yeah, the head is a little small, but take another look at the comparison pic guys, Soundwave's is not really any bigger. The head could stand to be a little bigger, but it's not really that big a deal. Again, excellent work chansformers!
