So I just had an odd thought. Do you guys think Animated Blackout could stand in for a Prime Blackout?

I just put my PRID Optimus next to him, and it almost works with them both being pretty much heavily stylized Movie designs. The only thing that stands out on Optimus is the extra detail of the Prime Style against the smoothness of the Animated style on Blackout.

I think it works decently well, but I figured I'd put it out here and see what everyone else thought. And in case anyone is trying to put together a Prime styled or Animated movie cast, but I haven't heard of anyone doing that either lol. Maybe I'll start a trend by doing it first?

Considering Animated Blackout looks like a fusion of insect and beach ball, My opinion is that it fits in with Prime stuff as badly or worse than most other Animated toys.

Too rounded and smooth. I think they should release it in Generations as an Animated toy.

I don't think it fits, personally. However, Animated Rodimus doesn't fare too badly in this regard!

I agree. I think Roddy is the only animated that will work with TFP. And he does fit in nicely.

Ultra Magnus might be another one that would fit in with TFP.
The Blackout toy is cool but it looks way too cartoony and rounded to fit in with TFP.
    Oil Slick might work too.

not happening, not one animated figure blends with prime, i'd be more inclined to see movie figures working

I think Ultra Magnus could fit, his face looks a lot like Wheeljacks and he has more detail than your average TFA toy

Sorry but no. Blackout just looks way too cartoony to fit in Prime's more realistic look.

However Animated Rodimus,Ultra Magnus,Waspinator,Oilslick,Jazz, and Blitzwing fit in quite nicely.

Animated Rodimus, sure. Blackout on the other hand, no. Now had Blackout got the Generations look like Lugnut did, maybe it could of work.
