Not alot to show yet, but I just finished dying the red parts black and Im painting a few of the red parts white right now. Using a pearl metallic white to get that nice Animated metallic sparkle, same for the black. More soon!

That's some great painting there. It looks like bare white plastic, in all honesty. Must've taken several coats.

thanks. The only real solid painted part you see there is the chest, the other parts were already off white and just got a light misting for the sparkly look. Im using Tamiya Pearl White spray. All the black parts were done with RIT dye. Should have a nice update tonight.

yup, probably on a water slide decal or plain old glossy sticker. Head sculpt will probably be the last thing, but Ive got the parts pretty much colored, just need to reassemble.

Some coloring wont be totally accurate, mostly on the arms, simply because of the original plastic color and parts that i couldnt make white without painting, but that I know will get paint wear, so Im sticking wioth black for the forearms and a few other parts, since the dye wont wear off. Mostly just painting the chest and legs white.

update posted to first post. Decided to keep the clear blue windshield, since all other animated figures do it and i want this toblend in. The paint line on the hood didnt come out super clean, but again, it fits in with production done paintjobs.

You need to do a painting tutorial! I like how smooth your painting is. Would like to replicate it if I ever wanted to paint.
