Got the Animated Arcee figure and painted her up in G1 colors. Pretty happy with how she looks. The pink is custom. Just red and whit mixed.

Nice work! Random question, do the swords slide all the way down on your Arcee, thus 'locking' in place or are they all loose and fall out at the drop of a hat?

any comments on the mold and painting it? were there a lot of joints/connections that you had to sand down to avoid chipping during transformation?

The swords were fine. But I didn't include them with the custom. I use them for something else.

They are cool. Just put them on Blackarachnia. Makes her look cool.

I was surprised by how little rub there is. I did no sanding, just washed the figure before painting. I've transformed it many times.

Thats good to hear. I have animated Arcee, and also a animated Blurr, both of which may become my classics Arcee. I have a MyClone Arcee head cast which was originally intended for the Blurr mold, but I may swap it and scrap the blur idea altogether and go only with Animated Arcee. The scaling of the Blurr mold is just too out of place on my classics shelf, even though it looks so good as a standalone fig.

The part I was concerned with rubbing was shin/car hood piece that folds in. As long as you do thin coats of paint, you should be fine.
