So, why is it that Hasbro developed both new Animated molds and new Robot Heroes molds, but only are releasing the Animated ones stateside?

Is it because it doesn't take as much money to design an Animated toy as a Robot Heroes toy, is there a larger market for Animated toys, or is it something else that I'm missing?

only Hasbro know for sure, but i'd hazard a guess that robot heroes weren't selling as well as they would have liked - i've seen a lot of them sat around warming shelves whereas, in my neck of the woods at least, animated toys are few and far between.
