Animated toys sooner? Yes! A shorter waiting time is certainly welcome from this buyer! I thought we weren't going to be seeing any of the Universe line? Great if we are tho'! I had a feeling that maybe the UK might see some Animated toys before the US, kinda like with Nightwatch Prime.

    Ruh-roh.

If the UK truly get Aniimated & Universe toys well ahead of the US, prepare for massive bitching from US fans.

...then prepare for the counter-bitch offensive from the UK'ers, saying how we don't know how good we have it. ;)

If there's gonna be a Leader Bulkhead, I just may be able to do my buying the five core Autobots. I was gonna pass when I saw how small Bulkhead was.

Well next friday is the British Toy Fair press day, with the normal days following, so there should be confirmation and more details after that.

Don't care about Animated, it's all Classics, baby. If we get these sooner than this coming fall, that would be so freakin awesome.

Huh...the Animated Basics are news to me. I'm thinking they might actually be the human characters (great price point for them, imo). I currently can't think of any TF characters that would go in that size category. As for Universe now getting Voyagers in it, that's great, and I'm curious as to what characters will be getting that size class. Hopefully I'm able to get a new job before these things start coming out (been busy with getting back into a college schedule, so haven't had much time to hunt for a job). Other than more TF's, I'll need to be looking for some shelves, or at the very least, some platic containers to put them in till I get some nice shelves. The question is, if Animated and Universe come out this early, what do we have to look forward to later this year? (when we were origionally expecting Universe).

Oh so that Bulkhead was Leader?
Explains why he was so freaking awesome and as big as Megatron.

Would any of them happen to be the show super-villans? We've already had the smallest TF's in the show done as deluxes, humans are the only characters smaller.

I take it that this show isn't open to the public?

There was some sort of release about what the basic size figures were going to be. Did you all miss it? I have to try and find where I saw it.

I wouldn't mind that, Sari, Tutor bot and Sparkplug in a £7 package.

I honestly can't recall ever having heard anything about basic figures for animated and I've been following the toy news very closely.

I'm not sure about everybody else, but, it's definetly news to me. Megatron's head would, imo, make for a nice little prop thing at the Basic/Scout price. The Allspark would also be a nice choice for that size class.

Kickback, the basics aren't those "Activator" toys that were listed a few weeks back when we saw those toy fair preview articles are they?
