I know this might be a hard one to answer for most of you but I remember some where on the internet years ago I saw pictures of some toy company that made Robots that can transform into Different animals. For some reason I remember they had a Giselle/deer transformer as well. The beast modes did not look robotic at all for Ex. Transmetal and Transmetal 2 "ish"

Just so everybody understands I am not talking about any products from the Hasbro/Takara Beast Wars/Beast Machines toys lines or that Animorphs line that was out awhile ago but some other toy line out there in the world entirely. When I saw these cool figures years ago I thought they would be great additions to my Beast Wars collection, you know just slap a Maximal/Predacon Reprolabel on em and call it a day. Which I want to do now.

If anybody has any memory of this or can recall any information on these figure please let me know, I would really appreciate it! Thank you in advance!

bandai dinozaurs, simple transformation, ugly bots, crappy quality for US version - the clear ankle joints tend to crack from age.

takara daigunder - simple transformation, mechanical animals.

not saying that's what you're looking for, just other toylines that have animals to robots.

All I can think of is Ramulus/Longhorn, but you said it's not from BW.

You'll probably have better luck asking in the toyark section.

Shoot, I think I know what you're talking about but I can't recall what they were called. I remember seeing a whole slew of realistic animals that could transform into organic humanoids, particularly female humanoids for whatever reasons. I recall a frog who's eyes ended up... suggestive in the humanoid mode.

IIRC they were done by the people that would later become Fansproject. The figures were incredibly limited if they were ever released and I personally have never seen any for sale or anything beyond one picture of each mode.

As for where those pictures reside, no idea.

I remember something from way back.. It was around the time of Animorphs & BW/BM (maybe RID too). The only one I recall having was a triceratops which comprised mostly of green translucent plastic with blue paint and very loose, knock-offish joints and non-locking transformation (probably due to the quality). But I thought the designs looked pretty cool as a kid and my maximals always beat it up. Might be that dinozaurs line that Maetel mentioned.

I remember there being some insect transformerming toys that were released about a year ago. I think they mostly showed up at Walmart. I don't remember any details though, I saw the toys and wasn't impressed.

The only other thing I can think of are the toys made by Jizai. If those were even sold they would be unassembled kits, and made in verry limited quantities.

There are a lot of really creative ideas in there! I think if the sculpting had a little more detail these would be amazing
