before i re-enter my crypt each morning (am a nocturnal, insomniac) i watch "angel" on TNT.

after watching the show for some time, i had a bittersweet thought.
Andy Hallett, who played Lorne, or The Host, never fails to impress me somehow.
i know he passed away (on my sister's b-day no less) but i have always wondered about what he could have done after "Angel".

one wish i had was that he should have gotten a shot at being the Joker in one of the many DTV Batman videos.
He wouldn't have been like Mark Hamill's over the top Joker, but he could have been one of the better ones.
i guess he could have been a charmer, a lounge lizard with a silky voice and an evil intent.

anyway, it's kinda bittersweet knowing he's not around anymore.

any ideas from fans of him/his character of what you thought he woulda been great as?

Wow, that sux. Didn't know that guy passed away. I love me some Buffy and Angel man. Not really sure what else he would've been good as, but make no mistake it would've been awesome. Lorne was a really cool character. The most awesome Lorne moment has to be when he kills Lindsey. Hardcore awesome acting job, totally didn't see it coming.

    and then just slipped away.

Hell, not even just a Batman DVD cartoon. The guy was clearly capable of acting through thick makeup, he was a fine actor, and was quite charming and smooth. In another lifetime, I'm sure he'd be a great live-action Joker.
