See, to me this thread is actually more valid than those relationship/life problem wah wah threads. This one actually has a practical solution that OP is looking to apply. Those other thread are the ones that are just looking for symphathy post while at same time having no intent on taking up advice.

i got a 55" TV, and i can't bear the thought of going back to anything like a 32" (like my old TV) or smaller.

i can barely read the scrolling text at the bottom on news channels on it, so it helps.

as for the Stupor Bowl, i have nothing against it.
but i am for enjoying something in the best way possible.

 

I don't get American football. It all sounds so complicated and with weird names - tight end? Why does that sound like the name of a pornographic movie?

Then, I don't really understand the rules completely for League or AFL either (in fact AFL looks like one of the stupidest games in history - you actually get rewarded with a point for MISSING the goal?!?!?!).

I know next to nothing about GI Joe, and mainly made an account on there for the sake of contacting someone about a TF purchace. What happens to you sucks, and as a sports fan I do have a small amount of pain for you. However, the way you titled your post is self centered and makes it seem like it's the worst thing that can happen to anyone. I'm sure it was done out of anger or panic but it still comes off wrong. I think this thread would have been a lot better had you named it "The worst thing happened in time for the Super Bowl"

Like projecting their own issues and problems and randomly filling it in with "U think that's bad I know *********".

If u have nothing to contribute(very few people actually helped with anything informative) don't post or go make your own thread for your "serious problems"

 

If you really wanted help, you shouldn't have titled the thread the way you did, and actually said, "Hey, does anyone out there know where I can find ___ so I can fix my TV at a reasonable price?".

 

Exactly. It's not the fact that you made a thread about this that's making people post stuff about "serious problems." I'm sure people would've tried to help you a lot more if your post had been something like "Oh, crap. My TV broke right before the Super Bowl. Anyone know how I can get it fixed?" rather than acting like it's the end of the world.
