I have an awesome 65 inch DLP Mitsubishi TV.

It really is badass, best bang for the buck out there.

But after a little over a yr and a half of being on 12 hrs or more a day(literally nearly everyday) the bulb done popped on me on Fri nite at 9:30 PM.

Cannot get one shipped in time for the game(Super Bowl for sports illiterate) on Sun nite of which I'm going to miss the first hr off anyhow due to having to work until 6pm............

So if I can't manage to find one t'row calling around on the phone for a reasonable price(its $99 and $10 shipping direct from Mitsu) and get someone to pick it up for me because I am working, I am royally screwed.

I'd rather have girlfriend problems(they all cause problems for the uninitiated) or suicidal thoughts or something, either way I would at least get to see the SB in 65 inch 1080HD.

I...I don't even....You'd rather be suicidal than have a broken TV?

Seriously, there's way worse stuff than having a broken TV, don't get all "Oh I have it so bad" because you're having a hard time replacing/fixing it.

Being both relatively normal and functional sure.

List of things that would give me suicidal thoughts:

NOT BEING ABLE TO WATCH THE SUPER BOWL ON MY OWN DAMNED 65INCH TV

Go tell that to someone who's homeless, has a un-curable disease, or has recently had family/friends die.

Humor isn't always easily understood when it's conveyed through text, especially when you've never spoken to the person before. If you are joking, and I hope you are, I apologize for my hostile manner.

I'm not homeless, nor is my gf or my son.

I do not have an incurable disease or had anyone die recently other than an Aunt right before Christmas.

I cannot do a thing about incurable diseases or people dieing.

I can however find a bulb for my damned TV to give myself an honest to God Super Bowl miracle.

While I've never been big into sports, I can totally understand what he's going through because had it been Wrestlemania weekend... I might be posting the exact same thread, except with much more childish profanity. I just hope he's able to pull through without doing something his carburator will regret.

The TV kicks ass, everyone comments on the picture(especially when its working)

The minimum this thing is on a day is 12 hrs at the least, in all honesty and in reality is likely higher.

So almost 1 3/4 yr on 12hrs daily at a minimum is over 7200 hours(rated for 6000 hours). Got a little dim, thought I was seeing things the last couple days and today it bit it.

My mom has neck and back problems from a car wreck and one bad fall could instantly kill her, she's had two neck surgeries and her neck is still horrible and the medicine she takes for the pain gave her diabeties.

yeah, your life sucks, seriously, its just a dumb football game, so what if you can't see sweaty men grope eachother in the highest definition possible, at least be glad it isn't worse
