I would have found this news interesting had the baby's mother been something like Debra LaFave. The boy would then have received my utmost approval.

saw video clips on The O'Reilly Factor tonight that scared me...
the first clip was a reporter interviewing Alfie. She asked a couple easy questions, then asked how he was going to take care of the kid financially. He asked her what financially meant.
the boy's mother laughed.
IMO she was laughing at the UK's expense.

What the reporter should have asked Alfie, "so, at 2 in the morning when you are sleeping and your kid is still crying for the 7th hour straight, you gonna throw it against the wall like one of your toys to get it to stop? how long before you throw your kid away?"
That boy is gonna treat it like a puppy. it is cute for a month, then he'll want to get rid of it.

the other clip was of Bristol Palin talking about her pregnancy with Greta Van Sustern.
the girl could not form a coherent sentence. she didn't even know what she was saying.

if you can't communicate on a 3rd grade level, how do you expect to take care of a kid.

The Palin clip is proof why kids shouldn't have kids.
When a parent sounds that ******ed, a kid can't possibly be in a safe environment.

 

Well he doesn't live at the same house so its not like he actually has to be there nights.

Obviously yes, I was being slightly sarcastic. Its absured that people to young to have sex can be allowed to have a child though. I think the government should be able to step in in these cases and remove the child. Especially as the family are obviously incapable of being responsable.

I like how in the article (if I read correctly), the two said they 'decided' to keep the baby. They 'decided' that? They're 13 and 15. They shouldn't get to decide what's on the damned television, let alone what they are going to do with a child.

I can imagine what it's going to be like when they have to change the diapers. One will tell the other that the baby pooped and after 10 minutes of them laughing because someone said 'poop' they will be arguing over who has to do it because it's too gross.

Anyone else here think that there isn't a single person mentioned in these articles that is deserving or fit to look after this child? Even their own parents are fucknig hopeless at parenting if this is the sort of attitude they take. Can you imagine the level of shit this newborn is gonig to suffer in her life?

I personally think the baby should be taken away and given to a better home. May not be the most ideal solution... But she'll at least have a chance at a better life. If she stays where she is, then they'll be no hope for her.

Ok, so pretty much everything I would have said has been said..many times, save one thing.

Why on earth would the other boys come forward saying it could be theirs? UK has it all backwards, you're supposed to claim it ISN'T yours.

Simple... So they can get their faces in the paper as well, and start being paid for interviews like Alfie is. I'm gonna laugh if th tests come in and it's none of the guys who've come forward...

 

The kid's 13, that's not THAT young, is it? Not sure about the UK education system but in the U.S. that's one year away from high school. He's not mature, but he's not an infant. Even people much older than him though have those same feelings of just wanting to "get rid of it". I feel awful for him.

I get the feeling that this story got this much attention because the kid just looks so young. Boys mature slower than girls do at that age so its not surprising, but still..

The girl scares me though >_>. Poor Alfie thinking she was incapable of cheating though. Ugh, that kid really does have a lot to learn.

 

There is a reported rumor about the parents of the 15 yr-old mother where they told her to tell the media that alfie is the father. That way her parents can collect the money of a story about a 13 yr-old being the father.

 

It was reported the 15 yr-old mother had sex with alfie's 16-yr-old brother.
