This. I am just gonna wait till the movie to know exactly who lockdown's talking to could be prime could be galvatron. Either way lockdown sounds awesome!
The thing is, none of us know how Galvatron really[/] works. At Cinemacon, he's described as a remote controlled drone but I don't think they showed the full movie version of it, since none of this talk is described. I think at this point he might have his free will inside but can't do anything against human control. Lockdown's bullying might create an early grunge againts humans, otherwise he'll go batshit crazy for no reason.
I even agree with other people who say the dialogue may not even be from that scene. its a trailer, things are cut up very differently from the actual film.
If Lockdown is indeed talking to Galvatron, the delivery suggests that the latter believes himself to be Cybertronian and is unaware of his origin, giving credence to the theory that his concience is that of Megatron. Perhaps KSI put Megatron's mind in Galvatron's body as a kind of AI, that has no knowledge of the fact it is being externally controlled.
Well, everyone gave their own theories, I wanna give mine too. Lockdown was talking to Optimus Prime. He meant either that Optimus was exclusively built by someone (Quintessons?) or that the Cybertronian life actually was built (first one fits better), and this "someone" wants him back either to judge him for destroying Cybertron or because they see potential on him and they want him back for their own profit (well, Optimus is strong as hell, it would be great to have him on your army). Meanwhile, KSI pulled Galvatron away to not be involved in an alien relationship conversation. P.S.: I don't believe Megatron's or Sentinel's mind will possess Galvy, I believe he will be manipulated by Locky somehow. But only the movie will answer it all.
Thank you, oh and here is my theory, when you shoot someone why would you just walk up to them and remind them how they made? thats like if a murder was trying to kill you and right before he gave the crushing blow he told you what your moms maiden was. It doent make sence especially considering that prime in this universe doesnt seem to be built by anything, like why would the quintessons still be on cybertron building robots when the falen and primes were around?
But the Transformers as whole do think they are born, from the Cube. Optimus says that in the opening scene of the first film. "We know not where it comes from (Which by the looks of it is answered in AoE) only that it has the power to create worlds, and fill them with life" Lockdown saying "You think you were born? you were built, and they want you back" only fuels the theory that Quintessons were involved in the construction of the Allspark. Meaning they were not born, they were in fact built. Lockdown is saying to Optimus, that him and other Cybertronians are wrong in thinking they were born.
I'm pretty sure bay would care less if he added quintessons or if he fracked his and others' childhoods.
Their was literally a interview posted today saying that bay has been diving into a lot of the transformers mythology rather than thinking of them as just toys. He also went on to say that he thought it would be interesting to dive into more of where the transformers have come from.
^Thank Primus! Looks like my theory may be the most plausible then...i really hope it's the Quints, i'd hate for this Ancient Evil to be Unicron. Actually, new thought. The Cube only made evil TF's right? wild ones with no control? how about if all cybertronians were meant to be like that, used as weapons of war for the Quints, but experiments got to far out of hand and they became sentient? Would explain a lot!
The cube made the primes, and the other bots, etc etc etc. It looks like the more bots it creates the more mindless they get. Or it depends of the circumstances they get created under. If he uses the Quints he could go the G1 route, they created the cybertronians as slaves, who revolted against them. Or Unicron trilogy. Quints got there home world eaten by Unicron, and they seek help from Rodimus to kick Unicron and recreate there world. And i agree on Unicron. Most overused villain ever. We need something new/old
