Can't choose between Tintin and Kung-fu Panda 2, Kung-fu panda was absolutley gorgeous, but I think Tintin had a better story. Puss in boots was a load of shite, but i'm going to be honest and say i've hated everything Shrek related so my views were probably clouded. Oh, and so was Cars 2, I'd forgotten that I'd seen that.......wish I still had...:redface2:

Winnie the Pooh, if for no other reason than the fact that it was the only one I feel was worth the time it took to make it.

If we're having a poll on the best animated film of 2011 then shouldn't every animated film of 2011 be listed?

I went with Pooh because to produce it they actually had to invent and use a time machine to travel back to the 1970's. Pretty impressive

I still haven't gotten round to watching Pooh, which is annoying because I was terribly looking forward to it :(

I'll have to go with Winnie-the-Pooh. Literally the only thing wrong with that movie was that it was too short.

Tintin shouldn't be in this poll.

Motion capture isn't animation! Its not!

Cars 2 was cool so I'm voting for that. Also, it was the only animated movie I saw this year.

I agree with Paxtin, CG motion =/= Animation.

I'd say a tie between Rango and Kung Fu Panda 2, both awesome analyzing in a very interesting way their respective genres.

that and that Disney chose not to get Peter Cullen back to voice Eeyore!!!
instead deciding that a pixar animator (Bud Luckey) should voice him.

This. While I really did love Tintin, it technically isn't animation.

With that being said, the best animated movie I saw last year was The Lion King. It's kind of sad when the best animated of any given year, is one that was released years ago.
