The news of this figure has popped up throughout the day for the Toy Fair stuff but they didn't say where it might be exclusive to. Glad that has been straightened out.

Exactly. This has been listed as an SDCC exclusive on the front page of TFW2005 from the very first posts. I like that they are using Blaster, but I will pass as the previous reissue is perfect. (Particularly as this one will be, more than likely, $50 at HTS until it hits the secondary market and I was burned by helping a member out with SDCC Soundwave.)

I have all of these from the TFCollection and Encore releases, but it's nice to see more G1 reissues making their way to the States. Hopefully the second SDCC exclusive for this year will be something good as well and not another damn Mighty Mugg.

Maybe that's why they left Rewind out; three cassettes instead of four so that the set will be the same price as Soundwave, even though the main figure is larger.

I'm quite sure it was said in one of the aforementioned news feeds that Blaster is being released alongside another damn Mighty Mugg. :p  Didn't see any mention of which one.

HTS. If the last few years are any indication, only sold for a few hours then they'll only be available at inflated prices through secondary sellers.

Yeah, it went a little something like this. It seemed to be daily for about a week that they would go up and vanish in around an hour. Ugh. Thanks for the hookup btw.

Wasnt Soundwave around 80$ at SDCC? I picked one up at the Fanexpo here in Toronto this past summer, paid $100........so I'm not 'looking forward' to blaster. Yikes!

I owned Blaster when I was a kid and could've swore that it was a fully functioning radio. Will this version double as a radio as well?

The Microchange toy was a functional radio apparently, but not the Transformers Blaster that was released.

Is it too much to hope for tampoed markings on this Blaster?
