So yeah, on this custom I, have made the following ajustments.(lack of better word) A new ball jointed neck from Energon prowl and to add height to the neck a snipped off a little hexagon area that had a pin, and used the inside of a mechanicle pencil as a neck.(the part that holds the lead) Also clipped off the solar energy absorbers in his neck and removed the box that they were connected to. And lastly snipped off his arm connectors(those rubbery things that peg into each other) and cut them in half lengthwise, then bonded them together to form longer arm thingies. As always critiques are welcome, and I need advice on bulking up his neck area. And maybe a link to a tutorial on how to mod the head dress to point up instead of back Update: Added more w.i.p pictures today. 70% done. just base coat the legs, dybrush legs, put copper highlights in thighs, shins, then drybrush some flat red on copper areas. then finally highlight eyes with red so his pupils are copper. oh and make his side fin beard thingies blue. *update* ive been away for 3 days and will upload pics tomorrow.
Are you going to paint him? You would be so much more pleased if he were dark silver!!!! The neck always looks better... I hate the lack of neck and ankles on the factory toy!
yeah im gonna paint him flat black black then drybrush flat alluminum, brass highlights and red highlights on that. then a good wash.
just need something to bulk up the area around his neck so it just doesnt look like a pole. any ideas or does it look fine?
