Have slip on fists over the claws like the seekers.

Also at the robot shoulder or where the front grasshopper legs are screwed together, made it a tiny screw so there are holes in the shoulders for seeker like shoulder mounted laser blasters.

Could that be possible with advancements in toy technology?

Given current advancements in toy technology, he shouldn't need to part-form at all.

Would be nice to see some updated Insecticons soon. Hasbro's making a pretty big push to update the original crew, so I'm sure they're on the shortlist at least. Whether they can slot them into their schedule is another matter entirely.

How do you make fists built in with the claw?

Also, can't the deluxe also be original? With the addition of Venom, the insects are the same, right?
    What about new insects?

I believe U2 Dinobot does such a thing.

Well, they're pretty similar, maybe not the "same". Sharpnel is similar to Chopshop, Kickback is similar to Ransack, but Bombshell and Barrage are maybe a bit less similar.

Certainly if "Classics" insecticons were ever made, I'd be totally happy with even straight repaints(slight remolds always preferable) as those 3 deluxe insecticons. And maybe even dual purpose a mold for Venom & Waspinator.

Though I really don't know if they'd be on any kind of "short" list... Hasbro's not too keen on animals... and even if they were I'd think the other 4 Dinobots would be above the Insecticons.

Would you buy a Kickback colored as Ransack?

I wouldn't mind new Insecticon figures that are a blend between the regular and "deluxe" figures, since the three of the Deluxe Insections are nearly the same "insect" as the Basic ones. Actually they could do all four in both "Deluxe" colors and basic black-purple-silver-yellow and market them as drones.

I'd love updated Generations insecticons. I wouldn't expect them to be difficult toys to engineer..

I'd buy a Scout Class reworking of Kickback and the other Insecticons. Scout Class would be the best fit, they were always smaller than the other Decepticons.

Also, it would be the best size class to troop build.

But following the recent trends, as with the minibots, the Insecticns would end up as Ultras or Legends.
    Worse yet- Power Core Combiners.
