An idea popped in my Head that Hasbro could release The OTFCC 04 Defensor/Hot spot in a two pack with a repaint of RID Galvatron as Hungrr but then I thought that a ultra and a leader would cost a bit much, so I thought maybe they could repaint one of the preds in RID to be a Terrorcon(Like Sharkticon as Rippersnapper Yeah he doesnt have arms or legs but it could work) Then they could repaint RID Prowl into Streetwise and put Hungrr in with him. Then Hasbro could repaint other figures into Terrorcons and Protectobots. And if they could IF Hasbro was awesome enough they could put Combiners limbs but! They probaly wouldnt happen.

Whats your thought of my Idea? They probaly wont do this but we all have dreams right?  

 

I like your idea but I'd tweak it a bit. I'd rather see Cybertron Scourge as Hun-Grrr, as we saw in the Legends Team Leaders 5-pack. The TFCC used RID Megatron as Deszaras and it sold poorly, so I figure they'd be wary of a reuse. And maybe to help with the price point, sell them seperately?

 

Well I was thinking that people who actually wanted a RID Megatron(Or a kind of him) could actually get one for a better price than you can get on Ebay. And I was wanting to go with the theme of battle packs and using RID Figures but your Idea would probaly work better. Also I dont really like that the fact that they already made a repaint of a very similiar mold like what they did with the Razorclaw.

 

nice but one problem.......the RID Prowl mold is now dust in the wind

 

I'd still love to see it released somehow...

Groove (Cybertron Lugnutz)
First Aid (Energon Tow-Line)
Streetwise (Universe Sideswipe)
Blades (Universe Blades, maybe with a white head)

 

Blades would be perfect if he had the white head and blue face.

 

Honestly, I think Titanium Hot Zone is as close as we're going to get.

 

I'd be more interested in a Hot Spot-Zone repaint of U2.Inferno. (Plus make a 2-pack of Inferno & Cyclonus, repaint Inferno as Artfire, and Cyclonus as someone, but give Nightstick to Artfire)

When CR/RID was around I did want Prime as Hot Spot, but with Magnus as First Aid so Omega Prime=Defensor. The OTFCC Defensor really struck me as "overpainted" there are just way too many colors and details. I suppose a Hasbro release would have paint apps cutback (thank god). However beside the possible legal thing with OTFCC(I don't think that's really such an obstacle), but do we even know of the RID Prime mold is useable or available anymore?

 

I was thinking about this away from the computer and the Hot Zone legends is really nice. I dare say a Cybertron Prime repaint in the leader class would be every bit as nice, and maybe even better than RiD Prime. If the one mold is unusable or in legal limbo, use the other one.
