As well all know Breakdown's death was pretty unexpected and not really recieved well because of his sudden stop in his character development. However there may be a possible way of bringning a part of him back Remember Starscream's cloning machine in Armada?

Supposing somehow Starscream got some DNA from MECH when when they were constructiing the Silas/Breakdown fusion after the events of Nemesis then used that bit of DNA to make a clone of Breakdown and tricked him into thinking that Airachnid mearly knocked him out and that Megatron left him for dead on purpose so that Breakdown's clone can join Starscream.

So my idea's basiclly to bring back Breakdown without reosorting to resurrection and instead uses cloning which is a perfect loophole. Now you may say it cheapens Breakdown's death but then again wasn't his death considered cheap to begin with? That way we can resume his character development and shed some backstory about his past with Bulkhead as well as coping being a clone to the orginal.

What do you think? Is it a good idea, bad or at least an intresting theroy?

I still stand by the fact that they shouldn't have wasted either time or potential by killing him off in the first place.

Well... MECH's gonna be doing something involving Breakdown, that's for sure. The question is... What?

It seems plausible. It could also tie into Starscream's statement back in Operation: Breakdown - "Between me and Megatron", and that could be brought back.

It's too much of a stretch and a waste of time. At this point I'd rather just have BD stay dead and move on.

Nothing as good as what his potential as a character had.

Breakdown's death was a great highlight of the show. No reason to undermine it by bringing him back.

    Let him stay dead.

All I need to be satisfied is some insight as to why he and Bulkhead hated each other, and you don't need to bring the character back to life to do that

Seems everyone forgot Breakdown's debt to Starscream that was never followed up on as well.

Maybe Breakdown was a Wrecker gone bad.

The thing is not everyone was happy about it. I myself sort of wish he'd have more development but I'm okay either way. I just figured this may an idea of how to bring him back and give him proper development while still sticking to the rules of the once a characters dead they stay dead rule.

In other words it's a loophole. I'd like to see Breakdown fighting a modified version of himself in a way.

Doesn't matter if everyone was happy about it. It happened anyway. Death happens. Usually it's sudden and unexpected. You have to deal with it and move on.

Maybe Knock Out storms MECH's base to attempt recovering his fallen partner's remains. That way, he won't be stuck having to go on missions with Insecticons all the time.

Okay, that'd be all well and good if they hadn't set up an arc for him that was never followed up on.

Oh well. Life doesn't wait for you to finish your arc. :lol  I'm glad they portrayed it as they did, one of the highlights of the entire series.

And for all anyone knows, Baldwin may have not been able to continue portraying the character. So they had to kill him off.

Either way, it was awesome, and I'm glad they had the balls to do it.

That's what war is. People can die at any time. No one is safe. And if you know they are safe because the writing team determined they are, then there is no consequence for any action, or fear from the viewer, because you know that the character is pull out no matter what.

    Fukkin spiders.

    Both likely and unfortunate.
