I mean come on, they couldn't think of this?? Kill a vehicon, take his t-cog. Easy easy.
No. That would be harvesting parts without someone's permission- even Megatron wouldn't do something like that unless the fate of his entire mission rested on it. The only reason they took Ratchet's was because he offered.
how about using parts form the hordes of zombie bots?!
Ha! Of course he would. Megatron has no morals, he has no standards.
The only reason they don't is because it'd be to easy. Who cares about logic. This show has so many inconsistencies so far, what does it matter?
That's what I suggested in the other thread. Apparently it's perfectly okay to kill tons of Vehicons, but to take a part from them? THAT'S TOO EVIL AND MORALLY WRONG!
Maybe that's what Screamer will end up doing. Though if Mech wanted one so bad, they could probably get one from a vehicon corpse unless Rossum's Trinity is in play.
It's using Decepticon parts when someone has a perfectly good one and is willing to give it up. Let me put it this way: you don't eat a Nazi if you have a sandwich behind a door that you have to knock down.
They wouldn't know what the hell that is even if it was in this show.
+1 Twisting off their heads, ripping out their guts, slaughtering droves of servant class miners, not an issue.
No, that's not it at all. A more accurate comparrison would not to eat a Nazi if there's a fresh American soldier next to you.
It's stupid to risk the life of a healthy, extremely crucial member of the team when there's tons of Vehicons.
Better yet, just have a prison full of Vehicons for spare parts such as voice boxes, T-Cogs and weaponry.
It's a war. Nobody would just be a wimp and care about the Vehicon.
but what if the sandwich you were going to eat was your friends? then he would have no sandwich.
Destroying a horde of Vehicons all in one row-FINE.....THAT'S OK!!
Salvaging their parts for the better good-YOU SICK....SICK BITCH!!
That makes little sense.
The morals of this show are so screwed up. It's not right to kill miner-class Vehicons unless it's the first episode where they slaughtered them en masse. It's not right to kill a defensless concious Megatron but it's okay to knock him off life support when his body is damaged but his brain is still fine in comatose.
Yeah. Maybe the Autobots a bi-polar?
as much as taking a vehicons t-cog would seem easy, firstly, OP and Rachet would never agree to cannibalizing spare parts (otherwise bumblebee's voice processor would have been fixed), i think the subject has to be alive and in stasis (Vehicon would probably try kill himself, though it wouldn't be to hard to restrain him, question is how to capture him, they'd have done it already if it was that easy), and lastly, making an ambush with limited resources would be extremely dangerous.
I thought it was T-cock? ......................................................*long silence*
That's because Optimus and Ratchet are idiots. You don't get a moral highground in war.
Bumblebee's cog was taken out and pretty much turned into a hot potato. Cybertronian organs don't go bad. No, they don't have to be alive.
Anymore than losing your only medic?
Turn transformers into humans. Does this sound so unfamiliar in reality to you? I don't think so. No where within the show was any enemy opponent ever "unarmed" (the miner doesn't count, Rachet was on drugs), basically amounting to special ops taking out regular joes, so that's war. Harvesting organs from captured enemies would raise a stink in any government. It's unethical.
As for megatron, arcee was trying to kill him, you forget that she had to keep megatron alive so bumblebee could get in his head. As you know, they were rudely interrupted by soundwave and knock out.
No, I'm being serious. I actually thought they were saying t-cock until i saw this threat and face-palmed myself.
This thread will bring out the boys and the men in everyone.
War doesn't care about ethics. War is dirty, unfair. If I was part of a small five man unit with no hope of reinfocement against an enemy with countless troops and my only medic was going to compromise himself to save my scout I would not hesitate to, regretfully, perform the grim task.
And as much as people would want to believe so they can halfway justify wanting to sleep with them, they're not humans. They're robots. Humans can't just have their limbs fall off and be fine. Trying to make them more like humans phsyically is stupid and just makes the writers look idiotic.
And how does the miner not count? Optimus quite plainly says killing the miners is wrong, obviously forgetting they emotionlessly slaughtered droves of them in Darkness Rising.
That's what I'm saying. Arcee tries to kill a comatose Megatron, but then later in Rock Bottom says it's not right when he's alive and dangerous.
No you didn't.
Separate names with a comma.
