Yay! After a very long time I´m back with something... uhm... new?
Okay, I found a nice pic of an "American Iron Man"

So, I grabbed my Mark II and started to paint!
It´s 99% finished, only some minor details are missing, such as the inside of the knees and so.
The facemask mod was first done by Jin Saotome, so thanks for this awesome little mod! =)
(And yes, he salutes in the second pic... ._. )

 

i actually have the "american iron man" figure from the Iron Man movie 1 line, its actually called Iron America i think. its based on the picture you have posted from the civil war "What If?" storyline where tony died instead of cap, but he left behind the Iron America suit for Steve to wear.

Either way your repaint of the mark 2 looks awesome in those colors. great job! just need a shield to go with him now

 

A wash will bring out the best of it, so I hope you have that planned.
