The hate mail is what really makes that site for me. Gives us a good glimpse into the mind of the serious AI fan. My favorite was the one that pointed out the increased risk of attack by North Korea and Iran if we have a crappy winner on AI, but this was special also: I'll be retaining this firm for all future litigation posthaste.
My fave: Thousands of Americans are giving their lives for our country right now. Mothers and fathers are grieving the loss of their children. Soldiers are suffering in horrible conditions and their lives will be forever changed. Maybe you can start another website to acknowledge our heroes by sending care packages or writing to our soldiers instead of devoting your life to a meaningless "cause." America is free because of them, and I don't think our founding fathers would see this website as an intelligent use of our democracy. I used to sit in my Bradley, sweat pouring down my brow as I scanned the horizon for explosives, and eyelids drooping with exhaustion, when our sergeant would tell me and my fellow soldiers, "Stay sharp, guys. The terrorists will stop at nothing to take American Idol off the air. We're all that's stopping them." And I'll be damned if it didn't help me shake off the fatigue for those extra hours. Seriously, comments like hers make me wish for the draft out of spite.

Ha ha, Priorities... After reading all the hate mail, I got to say that this is one of the funniest this I have ever read. Plus, why would they even threaten legal action.
Fox will do NOTHING. They realize like we all do that viewership will increase the longer Sanjaya stays in. This story got my attention and I could care less about the show.
All I want is that show off the air so they'll stop putting off better TV shows due to their "2 hour sing-a-thons".
heh, i remember a skinny big headed guy with glasses that couldn't sing at all last year, did that site supported him too? the only person i remember that could actually sing on that show is the bald guy from last year, and even when i haven't seen any previous seasons, i don't think i missed that much.
QFT, I hate reality shows, and I"m sorry, seeing a bunch of people doing karaoke isnt all that cool if you ask me.
