I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this already. I saw it yesterday and I thought it was the second best movie so far this year. (#1 is Transformers of course :D  ) It's kind of cool to see Denzel Washington as a bad guy/anti-hero. Russell Crowe put in a solid performance as well. The story was well written and nicely paced. You know a movie is going to be good when you see violence in the first five seconds of a movie. For those that care, there were also some boobies sprinkled through out.

Denzel Washington always gets these amazing roles, and does them fantastically. One of the best Actors these days IMO.

Hell yeah I do. Samuel L Jackson himself could not do a job that well at being hardcore. It seems that every movie he does he's mad all the time. Remember the Titans, John Q. :lol  Bone Collector was a DAMN good film.

    Don't forget The Siege

One of the few films this year that got good reviews from both critics and viewers.

Hmm, I thought Denzell was overrated in Training Day, and wasn't at all deserving of the Oscar. That's actually when Sean Penn should have won (he didn't deserve it for Mystic River). If not Penn, then Crowe deserved to win it again that year.

Man I want to see this movie so bad. But it's R-rated so first I need to convince an adult to get me in the theater. I'll ask FreshDebesh.

The movie was good, but not as good as I was expecting with all the hype. Denzel did a great job as usual, but even though I liked the movie, I left feeling a little let down.

I'm not a big fan of Russell Crowe and anything Ridley Scott's made from Black Hawk Down and on makes me cringe, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

The flick seemed to have some problems balancing the "good cop" and "anti-hero" aspects of Crowe's character, but I liked how Denzel came off as bad but respectable. Not that you're exactly supposed to LIKE him, but there's qualities of the character that you can respect.

I'm also happy with how the end was handled. Endings of "true" story movies can get pretty hokey and I like how this one finished on a more subtle note.

I personally was not impressed at all by this movie. Sure Denzel was great, as usual, but it did nothing for me.
