So Friday my wife and I went to see Heart and Def Leppard in San Jose. Totally clear skies when we went to the outdoor Shorline Amphitheater. For Heart's encore they played a cover on the Who's Love Rain O'er Me. Right when they started playing it started raining...along with a pretty good lightning storm. Out initial thought was "Wow, they brought sprayers to make rain and they're projecting lightning on the fog, cool effect", especially since the rain and lightning intensified with the song and it was all over within a couple minutes of the song ending before Def Leppard took the stage. It made the experience pretty epic. Then we got home and saw posts from freinds that were way too far away from the show to have seen anything commenting on the lightning storm that hit the Bay Area.
Seen Def Leppard several times in concert. They're awesome. Wish they did more hard rock than the pop they turned too in the later years. Was funny seeing them do the crossover show with Taylor Swift. Taylor was so out classed by Elliot and the leppard music just smashed the country styled music. So much so they released one of her songs with the leppards take on it.
Know what is from the 80's, has nine arms, and sucks? Sorry, kinda like them but still think the joke is funny. Chuck
^This, bitches. EDIT: In all fairness, I do not condone worshipping of Satan or any other red-skinned dude from Hell.
