I agree the title is way way better than calling it Transformers 3D.

3D works okay in the title of a modern B-movie like Piranha 3D or something like Jackass 3D, but doesn't need to be tacked on the end of every movie shot in 3D or converted to 3D.

 

I think the moment you're able to shuck off the pink floyd flashbacks it conjures up, you will slowly begin to accept it as a title. It's already growing on me.

As far as calling it 3D, well, that conjures up something even worse. Cheap, crappy 3D movies from the 70's and 80's. Crap like Jaws 3D.

 

It's kinda goofy, but it'll grow on me. Have already made it over the ROTF hump, so it should be easier to get used to this time.

 

I could think of worse titles.

Transformers: The Quickening
Transformers: Electric Boogaloo
Transformers: Deathly Hallows (part 1)
Transformers: Evolution
Transformers: Die Harder
Transformers: Attack of the Clones
Transformers: Forever

 

TF3 is good, but no 3d

 

I love the title, kinda has a Dark Knight, artsy vibe to it, at least it has a title. Ive said this before but Im going to say it again, anything is better than TF3D........

 

TF3 is perfect. Already has a awesome poster, and it just rolls with the tongue.

Oh come on... Die Harder(!!!!!!!!1111!!!!) is a badass title.

I personally hope "Dark of the Moon" is a typo. "Dark Side of the Moon" sounds decent, "Dark of the Moon" just sounds odd. "Darkness of the Moon" even sounds better than "Dark of the Moon".


Why does everyone assume the moon in the title is Earth's moon?

 

Dont expect an artistic emotional film though, it will be more of the same

 

None of those would even be considered since ur obviously being sarcastic. It should have been Rise of Unicron or Return to Cybertron but obviously they dont want to be too specific since we still wonder why the fallen wanted revenge

The title is grammatically correct, since "dark" can be a noun; however, your post is grammatically incorrect.

 

Could always be one of Cybertron's moons that floated away when the planet died and has been drawn towards Earth by the power of the Allspark. The Allspark may be gone but perhaps enough of the radiation leaked into the Earth to mark it for the moon to be drawn to.
'The Dark' could be Shockwave and some other evil pals that have been sleeping on the moon as it travelled, or even converting it into a War World.

Yes it is. "Dark of the Moon" refers to the last 3 days of the lunar cycle. This has been brought up in every single thread regarding the title.
