As much as I love Christmas, now is WAY to early. Usually right after Thanksgiving is when it should get into the swing of things.

It is too eairly for Music IMO. I think Costco has christmas stuff to sell, but I think that is normal for them.

I just want the stores to get their christmas stock of toys in...

Someday I will give my sons a Christmas just like I had when I was a kid, it will be like: "Here are some toys you didn't ask for, it's all we can afford, be happy you got anything!!!!"

    *thinks his kids are spoiled*

I think they advertise the stuff now, make people think they're cheaper now than around the real date, then clearance them around that time, can't really explain it well in text

I saw some Christmas stuff at Sams Club today. I wasn't shocked one bit, though it is way too early for that.

Christmas and birthdays stop being fun after 21. Hell, last Christmas I was stuck working a 24 hour shift at the hospital and had Subway for dinner. Bah humbug.

I love christmas! It always makes me remember the times when i was a kid and i would get tons of stuff. and the memories of everyone coming to my house for dinner. kinda depressing now. things have changed so much since i was 5,6,7. those were great years. i would do anything tohave those years again!

I'm huge on tradition, so I love Christmas as my family and I do the same things every year. It's a relaxing, comforting feeling. I love it.

I just hope they don't play Christmas music at my store 8(... and if they do.. it's actually December. Unlike other places (Macy's at one time started it the day after Halloween).

Not at all, the merest hint of Xmas elicits a Bah! Humbug! from me.

Xmas is good for kids, it's nice to get together with family/friends, but it's the beginning of Sept, it's almost 4 months away still, a third of the year! I'd ban Xmas advertising if I could until at least mid November, all this build-up de-values it (I don't mean the Christ aspect, I couldn't be less religious if I tried).

I'm all for X-mas as portrayed in Futurama!! :)

    Bah! Humbug! FTW

I did not grow up with Christmas, all of my family are Jehovah's Witnesses. It's like I just don't care. It wasn't important then, and now that I can celebrate it, whatever. None of my family celebrates it; isn't that what Christmas is all about, sharing time, food, and presents with the family?

I've actually come to not enjoy Christmas at all. It gets started in May with the hallmark Ornaments. Then just gets worse and worse. The only thing keeping WalMart and target from putting Christmas stuff up right after school supplies disappear is that Holloween and Thanksgiving get in the way.

Then the fact my wife never gets me anything I want. I actually don't care about any holidays because of this. Anniversary, b-day, Christmas. All nothing I ask for. The first year we were dating, I asked for Armada Superlink Prime, got it. That was the one and only time I got what I asked for and the only reason it's still displayed.

Christmas is hideous. A big fat commercial blowout where people waste a ton of money buying loads of useless crap for people, and in return recieve their own bunch of crap. I know people who got extra debt to be able to afford hundreds of pounds each on presents for their partners and family, it's like a competition to see who can spend the most possible money on shit.

I love seeing my family and having an awesome meal, but unfortunately to most people, christmas is not about this. I explain to most people I know that I don't agree with blowing loads of cash on a bunch of cr@p just for the hell of it, so they won't get card or pressie from me, and I don't want from them. Works most of the time.

When I tell some people this they mention the spirit of Christmas. Must be a big ghostly dollar bill wearing a sheet or something.

Whoops, went on a bit of a rant then.
