    British?

I dunno, the name sounds like an English military term more so than American.

And for some reason the vehicle looks likes something the SAS or Royal Marines would use.

Plus we can pay homage to Simon Furman.

(since there's no history on this character yet, thought I'd toss it out there)

I think there's more British people you could pay tribute to than just Simon Furman, especially if you're using the character archetype of an SAS officer. Why not use Mark Ryan (ROTF Bumblebee and Jetfire), who's played SAS officers?

Also, Breacher would be a great name for a whale character, if they ever go back to doing beast modes.

Terminology-wise, "to breach something" isn't inherently British or anything (that I know of), so no, I never thought of it that way.

No, because then the token British character becomes a joke. Oh haha, isn't his accent funny? He uses English words in ways I don't understand. LAWL

I wouldn't mind it, but I'd want a small team of Brit TF so at least he wouldn't be on his own and have the Stateside TF ragging on his accent. With a team they could cover all the character bases Blighty would offer, with the football hooligan type, the toff, the chav, the flat cap-wearing Yorkshire working class, Cockney (complete with pearly armour), bowler hat tea-drinker, gritty Brit soldier and so on.

As for the name Breacher, could be the name of a Brit Autobot that's good at breaking into places. Team him up with Getaway.

It's from Shakespeare's Henry V originally, actually. "Once more unto the breach, dear friend".

Which would work for a British Breacher. A warrior poet who enjoys reading the works of Shakespeare and Chaucer in his spare time would be something a bit different.

Wouldn't Breacher technically be a marine and therefore not British?

    With a Burberry Autobot logo.
I've always thought it would be amusing to bring back Runabout and Runamuck as chavs.

Corsa with a 1.2 engine but a fart can the size of my fist... complete with all the halfords extras

But honestly I don't know why when it comes to accents they have to go for the more "kooky" ones that goes not just for us brits but any non-generic American voice. I guess the kids dig it.

there is that old war saying" once more into the breach"...which referred to storming towards your enemies position and kicking ass and taking names...

I really don't like the characters with accent crap like cybertron introduced...

it just demeans the story of transforming robots from OUTER SPACE...not earth with earth accents live at 11...
