Am I the only one who loves ore played Sly Cooper?
It's a pretty fun little platformer and I dig the art style.
Though I can't really play it anymore without feeling dirty since there's a dude watching me on DeviantArt that has a borderline obsession with the fox detective lady.
Oh hay there's a new one coming, they're starting it after inFamous ships
I fucking love that series. I hope they release 4 after inFamous.
Making more? I kind of like how it finally gave Sly his happy ending in three.
i was always curious about these games, but for some reason i never bought one.
When I was at the mall yesterday I noticed Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper were all on sale 3 for $20. I passed and have been regretting it since.
And to the original Poster, no you are not the only one. Sly is still one of my faves on PS2 (started playing part 2 again just last weekend). Io was kinda worried we'd seen the last of them.
The style and Caper-influenced levels, and well as the way they perfected making you feel like a nimble little badass while still making it playable is what sold me to this series.
I love all three of the R&C Sly and Jak series. My favorite is the R&C because of David Kaye's Clank, but the Jak series has always been awesome, just in the words of Twist "Fucking Hard!!" I mean, I know they don't want to make it a TPS like Ratchet, but shooting is a nightmare in a game where the character almost only uses guns.
I love the Sly Cooper series, from the stealth aspect to the individual personalities of the villians, to the story as a whole. I'm glad they're making another one.
I feel dirty for saying i've never heard of Sly Cooper
Obviously, I hope they stick to the Animated look, but I would be open to them giving it a different approach. Also, I remember watching Over the Hedge and thinking "Hey, that's Sly!"
ya, I know! I cant fukn wait!!!
And where did you get this info? I haven't heard anything about it, other than rumors.
I know how you feel. cause of everything I've seen on the net(and ironically, almost all of it on DA) I feel guilty for liking franchises with anthropomorphic characters in them.(sonic, klonoa, sly, crash)
Wow, good week news-wise for me, then. Found out all three of my three favorite PS2 series are continuing-- Jak & Daxter (though with a PS2 game, not a PS3, sadly), Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time (and a port of Secret Agent Clank to the PS2), and now a new Sly Cooper game. Huzzah, I say!
I hope they really polish up Agent Clank, (dual stick support)
I don't mind Jack on PS2, but I would love to see what the Dog can cook up for PS3 after their experience with Uncharted, still one of the best-looking games I have ever seen.
I a Demo of "Sly [Cooper] 2: Band of Thieves" and loved it. Unfortnuately, like Transformers (Armada) and Beyond Good and Evil, Sly is among those PS2 Games I never was able to get my hands on, no matter how many times I put it on my Christmas list.
His series pretty much vanishined from the sheleves by the time I gathered enough money to buy the "Greatest Hits" Editions and trying to fish through the "5 Dollar Bin" at Wal Mart was a pointless endeavor (I kept picking Halo 2 and Shadow of Colossus).
