Am I the only one who is sure that they will re-release a devastator classics set?

They re-release the other two maximus sets already. It's bound to happen.

Doubt it, the TCC Devstator will probably overshadow all other versions of the character.

TCC = Transformers Collector's Club. They are not releasing a devastator.

TFC = TF Club, an asian fan group that also produces customs, reportedly working on a Devastator. We have seen one part of it only.

Doesn't necessarily mean that Hasbro will not release it for easy repaint.

It wasn't that Hasbro issued Superion and Bruticus twice, it's that they released it under Universe in non-US markets, and under ROTF in the US. I'm not sure that can be classified as a re-release.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the molds being re-released from Superlink/Energon.

    If so then what does that have to do with re-releasing Classics Devastator? Because right now each 'Maximus' combiner has been re-released once (Superion and Bruticus having been released in two packagings/lines but at around the same time in different areas of the world);

In any case, the molds have seen release 2 separate times in most parts of the world. It's not like Hasbro has to do another constructicon release in order to catch up with the usage of aerialbot/combaticons.

If you see one at a decent price, obviously snap it the hell up. I'm glad I did.

    :lol  I lol'd!

Anyway, to the original poster, I think it's safe to say that you are not the only one who is sure. I am not sure, but there must be a few that are sure.

Anguirus, are you sure or not? Surely you must have an opinion. Don't hold back.

I'm doubtful. I mean, it's been released twice already, plus we're getting another Constructicon combiner in the PCC line soon.

I'd like to get it at retail, but the odds seem slim.

    I also doubt it.

the toy already got a re-release in Green G-1 devestator colors.

^^ Isn't that the very set that we are discussing... the re-release?

Wait. When they re-release something, it that a re-release of the re-release or just the same re-release? Not excluding repaints.

Wait a minute here, I'm not getting the question at all.

Speculating a re-release on Constructicon Maximus just because there's Repaints for both Superion Maximus & Bruticus Maximus from Energon/Superlink series? :sly2:

Haven't we seen that re-released on Classics 1.0 as Devastator? It came out as a giftset, remember?

    What he said.

It's been pointed out already, but it bares repeating, we already got a repaint of the Energon Devastator gestalt, so there's really little chance of another repaint/release of it happening. Also, we're getting some Constructicons in the PCC line. Though it's more of a new character than a homage.

Personally I wouldn't mind them repainting Energon Devs in a coloration similar to that of RID Landfill, and a repaint of the Energon Bruticus set as RID Ruination. I'd buy both sets, tbh (RID homages ftw).

It is a pretty crappy figure anyway.

I say either get a G1 one or the Universe Micromaster one.
