Weird...I'm not too interested about it.Anyone else feel the same?
I'm not feeling very excited for it. I just don't like movie Bumblebee at all so it's kind of hard to get excited for a movie about a character you don't like. I guess it's kind of hard to get excited about another attempt to save the film franchise when the other attempts at fixing things haven't really worked out. I think I need to feel like it's not just another not reboot before jumping back into where the other Transformers movies left off.
Yeah I like Bumblebee but they overpower him way too much. Not excited either,we only have Bumblebee,Moonracer?,the Plymouth GTX,and Barricade on the Transformer cast. Also, not a fan of Charlie.I just don't know with this. Also,I tend to not like prequels to already established stories. The Movieverse can't even handle the present, let alone the past.
I guess for me hope springs eternal, because I feel good about what they've shown so far. The recent films have seemed very complicated and busy, the idea of this one just being Bumblebee and a girl sounds nice.
I mean I liked the 2007 film well enough, this one seems like it will be a lot like that one.
True,it has possibility.More than TF6,but still,I don't have my hopes up.Bumblebee and the girl is okay, but why is the girl Charlie?Isn't that a male name?
What the new Han Solo film is to the Star Wars fan base is what the Bumblebee film is to the Transformers fanbase. Meaning, there isn’t really much to get excited about. A Bumblebee film would pretty interesting if we hadn’t had the character shoved down our throats for the last decade. I’m slightly excited for the movie simply because it means more movie toys. Hopefully, the trailers for this film will change my mind and convince me to go see it.
Girls named Charlotte will sometimes go by Charlie as a nickname.
I'm going to reserve judgement until I have a little more to go on then a screen cap and a few vague sentences about the plot.
I get excited
It'l make more money since bee is the mascot of the franchise
I loved Kubo and I want this to be a great movie, but
*Bumblebee has been tremendously overexposed since the first movie came out. It doesn't help that this particular version can't speak. It's great to see a Volkswagen Bee again, but that's not enough.
*All I've heard of this is "It's a love story" and there's only 4 transformers (3 of which haven't even been revealed yet) doesn't inspire me with confidence. I don't really care about Bee's relationship with the protagonist, the previous films had too much human character focus and this sounds like it's going even farther.
I want a movie about Autobots vs Decepticons.
Are there Star Wars fans that hate Han Solo? I thought fans liked Han.
Bee on the other hand seems to split fans with a range of love him to death to can't stand the yellow bastard.
Since it's Hasbro I'm worried it's going to be like Snake Eyes from GI Joe. Snake Eyes was really cool at first on the cartoon, the comic book, and on toy shelves. But then Hasbro went Snake Eyes crazy to point where some fans couldn't take the character anymore.
No. Star Wars fans LOVE Han Solo. However, there’s a lot of fans, myself included, that think a Han Solo film is absolutely unnecessary. Harrison Ford brought a certain spunk to the role and there just isn’t a point to having a Han Solo film. Even Disney realizes fans thought it was an unnecessary film and are literally expecting it to bomb when it’s released.
Literally scads of people. I'd dare say almost the majority. They merely don't feel compelled to voice that fact.
I feel like you knew this and just started a thread anyway.
I know four Charlies in real life and only one is a guy.
Count me in on this feeling. It sucks because usually I get really excited for new tf movie news..and even with how bad I think TLK is, the idea bee helped in ww2 is really what should've been the Bee movie story but no, we have him yet again befriending a human, the relationship of which will be highlighted and no matter how meaningful or well done it may be portrayed, it won't mean a single shit because we know he'll just meet Sam later and he will be his human partner then.
Sheesh! Sam, Cade, ww2 vets and now a young girl? Bee just comes off now as a straight hoe with human partners.
Fixed that for you.
You're not! I feel the same way.
But...it didn’t need fixing. Rogue One was sort of unnecessary also but I found it to be an entertaining film. The Han Solo film is pointless. We had 4 films with Han. Lucasfilm could easily have his origin story told in comic book form rather than wasting millions of dollars on a film that’s going potentially bomb in the box office.
