Today I found Voyager Dreadwing, whom was anticipating forver. But now that I have him, I don't like him. At all. His jet mode is crap, his head is way too squishy, and he can't pose worth of crap.

Am I just crazy? Did I get a bad Dreadwing? Or are there some on you who have the same issues?

It's not crazy to visually fall in love with a figure, but after spending the money, losing some of that love.

i have had it happen a few times over the years.

i kinda like Dreadwing's look, but i have yet bought one.

Maybe you got a bad Dreadwing? I can pose mine and I really like him. He was a figure I actually didn't have to have but my boyfriend bought him for me and I love him. I'm really glad I own him.

Having spent a lot of time with Dreadwing doing photos for the site gallery, I can agree with Sideways77. The rubbery head bothers me, and while I can get some great poses out of Dreadwing, the lack of weight in his legs means getting him to hold them is another matter.

The pros do outweigh the cons - the robot mode's look is excellent and he has a nice involved transformation for example - but like all things, he is not perfect.

I don't understand all of the complaints about the head. Yes it's rubber, but you can hardly tell. If paint apps weren't holding due the different texture, that would be one thing. However, the only complaint I've seen is that it is "soft" or "squishy". I don't agree.

I wouldn't exactly say you're crazy. Your concerns and gripes are genuine and understandable. But, as with the majority of things in this fandom, his appeal is purely subjective. While I agree with the majority of your gripes, I feel they are nothing but minor annoyances and overall the pros FAR outweigh the cons. Therefore, I consider him to be a great figure. Again, though, it's nothing more than a difference of opinion.

I don't get why his head is rubber. Are kids really going to kill themselves with it?

I guess his articulation isn't that bad. I was just overreacting.

The thing that really confuses me about the rubber head is the fact that is sword isn't rubberized despite being fairly pointy.

The one major complaint I have is that horrible MechTech gun. That thing is a piece of garbage -- it was garbage when they gave it to Prime and garbage when they gave it to Starscream.

Really wish MechTech would just end. It would have been nice to get a decent, show-accurate gun for him. Hopefully a third party comes through.

I don get why a rubber head is an issue.

Does it look like a blob?

I dislike the rubber Kreo heads but those just look and feel cheap next to the bricks.

     Yes....Yes you are.

:p  To each his own! I do agree with your opinion, but it's not mine. Sorry for your displeasure with the figure. D: Though I do agree with the gummy head.

You just described every experience I have had with the Prime toys other than 2 Deluxes and some Cyberverse.

I like the characters, I wanted the toys, I got the toys, I don't like the toys.

Ha! Im with ya on this. Besides the Vehicons , some FE's an 2 AM versions, these figures need ALOT of TLC to make them look half way decent.

The rubber really doesn't bother me at all. I truthfully think this figure is FE quality.
