Ok i seen the movie twice liked it but had a few thought's

when the all spark shrunk was that not mass shifting

if so if megatron is brought back could he mass shift now??

is there a chance for a g1 respawn? after all they can scan anything I want prime back as a cabover!!! lol''

I hope there is no mass-shifting amongst Transformers. The All spark mass-shifting is fine but I think its an invalid comparison

Its cheapens the realism if there is mass-shifting. The All Spark doing the mass shift, I didn't mind because we don't know what it can do, its from out of this world. But the fact that Michael Bay chose Optimus to be a long nose truck so that he can be 30 foot tall is because of real-world physics.

 

some things don't work in live action.
some things do.
not much more to that.

 

Mass shifting...only for Soundwave. And the new looks are cool, but they could find some cheap reason to make G1 styled characters like them wanting to be able to transfor mquicker so they just make 'em simpler. But thatd be lazy


And my post isnt meant to be a flame. the movie kicked way too much ass.

 

i'd take head/powermaster over mass shifting in the movies, more believable


then again how believable are giant robots who just happen to all come to earth?

Problem is, mass shifting defeats the general purpose of transforming as disguise. If Optimus wanted to hide anywhere, why not become a bin?

 

yeah i dont see any real reason for mass shifting apart from soundwave and i dont want him to be a tape deck that would be silly so inconclusion no need for massshifting

Classics,the comics,Masterpiece & Animated are more than enough G1 for the G1 fans! Asking for more is just plain selfish & greedy!

 

are you sure that the transformers kept to the laws of physics? a heck of a lot of arm came out of bumblebees hood.

 

Not to mention when frenzy turned into the phone, and in the shots of Ironhide and ratchet vs starscream - starscream just didnt look as big as he should considering how enormous an F22 is compared to the cars (an F22 is about 62 ft long).

I think there was mass shifting (despite claims to the contrary) - but only enough to make the transformations work.

Walkman --> 15ft killer robot just isnt going to look believable in a live action movie.

 

I can see it giving him some new/stronger powers when & if he comes back, but, I doubt that he'll be able to mass shift. I also hope that Prime doesn't change his alt-mode to a Cab-over, though, honestly, is there a Cab-over Semi big enough for him to transform into?

 

I don't mind Prime being another type of truck as in G1 but ever since I bought Leader class Optimus and saw how he transformend I tought this explanation was stupid. They basically fold the nose and the back of the truck down to form the feet together, thus Prime wouldn't stand less tall without a long nose (albeit the legs would be thinner).

 

Lets hope that Megatron wont mass-shift if he comes back.
The last thing live action needs is a giant evil robot turning into a fucking pistol.
Also, if Soundwave gets in, no Tape-decks/CD-players/I-pods or that shit, please, Why even bother with an Alt mode that can't even move.

Useless Alt Modes FTL!

Megatron is a ruthless monster who would kill all his troops for even talking out of turn, being dependent on someone to use him in Alt mode just isnt his style, not to mention how stupid it looks.

And one thing to always remember:
Truck > Gun


Megatron isnt a gun for TF2, he wont be a G1 replica, neither will Prime, get over it, move on.
