Are there any significant differences between these two? The photos of AM-14 that I've seen all look identical to the RID counterpart. It appears to me that the only real difference is the inclusion of the arms micron weapon.

I'm on the fence about preordering the jet vehicon and just wanted to know if the Takara or RID version would be a better counterpart to it.

The AM-14 version uses sticker apps, whereas the RiD version has paint apps.

And yes, the weapons are different of course.

Besides the chest insignia and the shins, are there any other stickers on the bot mode?

Don't forget the batmobile thruster on the back of the car.

My god the thrustor. A micron port that actually improves over the original. Glad someone at Takara has a sense of humor with the comparison to the Batmobile. LOLZ

Still want to know if the Micron will attach to the arm like the RiD though. All the pics show him holding it like a blaster. From what I can tell in the closeups it might not.

And dumb micron ports by his front wheels.

Like pretty much all Prime toys, Hasbro wins in my book.

Looks like I might have answered my own question in a way.

Did a little more digging and found in hand pictures have been posted:

Full Metal Hero Forum - Arms Micron AM14 Vehicon In Hand Images

And it looks to me it's more of a 'Fake it' method.
